Pros and cons Very accurate thanks to the long range of the pedals Suitable up to shoe size 45 Personal settings are saved on the RJ12/USB adapter The resistance of the pedals is not adjustable Smooth and accurate control These self-centering rudder pedals slide smoothly on a system of four rails, which are made of high-quality aluminum. Because the rails are relatively long, and therefore the range is large, the T.Flight Rudder Pedals are very accurate - even with a small change. Of course, it is possible to use the brakes differentiated. You can control your left or right brake (or both, of course) by simply moving the tip of your feet downwards. The pedals are suitable up to shoe size 45, and have a detachable heel support. By mounting or dismounting the heel support you determine if you want to put your entire feet on the heel support, or if you want to control your Thrustmaster Rudder Pedals with the ball of your foot. Fully configurable with advanced software Fully configurable with advanced software The T.Flight Rudder Pedals are fully configurable with the advanced software configuration. Set the dead zones at the start, middle, or end of the rudder shaft as well as on the two axes of the differential brake. The configuration is saved on the included RJ12/USB adapter.

First time using rudder pedals. Easy install and works great for the flight sims I use (DCS, MS Flight Sim). I use to use the flight stick as the rudder but always rotated the stick when flying causing the rudder to work. So much easier and more realistic just using this setup.

Really didn't think I *needed* rudder pedals to enhance X-Plane 11 (I am a real-world private pilot, so never expect XP11 to be like the real thing), but bought them because they were relatively affordable and figured, why not, I'll give them a try.Ever since putting them in, I have been amazed at how much more control they provide on all axis, not just the rudder. I think it has something to do with not accidentally twisting the stick when I want to change pitch or bank. In any case, they have definitely made it easier to do ALL aspects of flying. Especially holding altitude, for some reason (YMMV)Some additional notes:1) There is a small detent in the pedals, which is definitely more pronounced when taxiing. Basically, the response curve will dull smaller movements.3) There are comments out there about the pedals being too close together to each other. I can see this for any setup where the control stick is between your legs. However, for XP11, I honestly haven't felt any weirdness. In fact, they don't seem any more narrow than the real C172 that I fly.Overall, great value at the price

I like these pedals for their quality and the ease of setup. Tension is normal and there is accurate positioning (when calibrated). They don't rattle around and stay fixed to carpet (for me). TM in general makes really good products IMHO. However, the pedals are too close together for me. Like many, I do not sit at a desk with my knees together. When I fly an aircraft IRL, my legs are apart, with my feet resting on well spaced rudder pedals. These are not. They are tight together so that they may also function as driving pedals (which I do not utilize). So if you are looking for flying pedals only, understand they are close together, in a way I find uncomfortable. I'm sure I could get used to it. But I would rather not. What a great set of rudders! I am new to the flight sim paternity and did some online research to source the best type of joystick, throttle and rudder combination. I settled on the Thrustmaster joystick and throttle combo and after using them and being very satisfied with their performance I found that Thrustmaster did a set of rudders in the same range. I jumped straight on them when they arrived and was totally impressed with them. They were difficult to use initially and even performed in an unusual way i.e. when you moved the rudders, it altered the throttle and not the rudder. I since found that you have to alter the way the rudders operate by calibration and going into settings on your sim game. Now I have set the rudders to operate correctly the games work ... I use my rudders on my tower pc and they work just great.
The pedals are inexpensive and I've had them for about a month and have used them for an average of 2 hours a day in Elite Dangerous and I can really say they add to my enjoyment of the game. The pedals work well but will take some getting used to as I switched away from the twist axis on my stick. One of the things that it does right away (for me) was to make my rolls better as I tended to add a bit of yaw inadvertently by twisting the stick as I rolled. It also helped my hands as I'm getting a bit of carpal tunnel in them and the twist axis aggravated that. I also use the pedals to steer the SRV in Elite Dangerous and the pedals control axis is longer than the twist on my stick so makes controlling the SRV much easier and enjoyable. You can use the TFRP with any joystick and you can set dead zones with the a configuration software called T.RJ12 USB ADAPTER_Calibration Tool. And the dead zones are stored in the USB adapter that is included with the pedals. Don't get the T.A.R.G.E.T software as this will not work with the pedals until they come out with the new T.16000M FCS HOTAS in September. The pedals will plug in to the throttle of this HOTAS and will then be another axis that you can use the T.A.R.G.E.T software on. This will be nice to do as some game don't support the rudder pedals as a separate axis. I plan getting the T.16000M FCS HOTAS and retiring my T.Flight Hotas X which has served me quite well.
This product is sturdy and has everything that you need to add rudder pedals to your flight simulator. It is top quality. But be advised that the converter for the PC is not easily noticed in their packaging. It is hanging in the middle of the vertical cardboard spacer that I discarded without notice . I totally missed this necessary part and found it when I was in the process of repackaging the contents for return as an unstable item. I looked for an item description of the contents packaged but found nothing obvious. This item was mere seconds from being taped up as a defective return when I saw the needed interface hanging in the cardboard separator. Thrustmaster really needs to communicate better what and were there items are in their excellent packaging. It's a ... Good Points: Good price compared to other's. Basically plug them into a USB and your ready to goImprovement Points: Pedals are fairly close together compared to Logitech. The pedals are quite smooth which means your feet can slide off the pedals fairly easily. Overcame this problem by fixing sticky back non slip tape to the high points.Initial design should have ribbed rubber inserts fitted to these these areas.
I bought this specifically to play the latest Il2 flight sim. Downloaded the drivers as per instructions but didn't download the additional setup software as I had reviews that it was temperamental in operation. Varied pedals were operating via Windows. On trying to use the rudder pedals in game they weren't being recognised by the game. Toe brake was okay and worked well. Several attempts and a few beers later, still not recognised. I decided to download the additional programmes from thrustmaster, ran them both, rebooted il2, kicked the left pedal first and it worked. Rudder recognised along with the toe brakes. Had a pair of Saitek before and managed to break those almost within a week of getting them, these feel strong. They are narrower but nothing that ... This was my 3rd attempt at adding rudder pedals to my flight sim cockpit. It should've been my first choice. The other 2 attempts were wasted money. They both felt like just toys and not a serious addition. The T.Flight pedals are hefty and stay put under most situations (aside from trying to recover from a spiraling death dive!) And the movement of the pedals, smoooooth! They're self-centering, whereas the others, well, you had to check visually to verify center. My size 8-1/2 feet fit comfortably on the pedals, which are large enough to support my entire foot. Btw, B&H Photo had the best price and delivered in 3 days!
I had read that the pedals were close together and reviewers had mixed opinions. They are clearly too close together, no question. Keeping your feet parallel 10cm off the ground and right next to each other is a horrible ergonomic position. On top of that, holding your feet in this position seems to put a ton of force through the pedals making them slide. Finally, the angle of the pedals is much to steep. To stay in a comfortable position you must flatten your foot out which makes the braking axis useless. Struggling to find a reason to use these.
