i really like the feel and material of the wheel itself. the only problem i encountered is from the wheel clamp. because my table has a beam under it, there isnt enough space for the clamp and I can't fully clamp it onto my table which makes it overall a bit unstable for me. other than that, there's no issues

Such a simple product, but such a profound improvement. My main disappointment with my TX wheel was the mushy feeling of the shift paddles. This completely changes it. The wheel and pedals are dope. The alcantara is lush, the FFB smooth and torquey, the pedals entry but about as good as the G923s (maybe a bit better?) and it's an absolutely SICK way to get into sim racing. But I've done so much research on so many wheels including this one before making the purchase that I'm not exactly surprised by these things. I have had this wheel for 3 years.

This is an amazing wheel, I have used it an many games.I recently started using it in Forza 5, and this is where it is lacking .Although it is a great wheel, either it is antiquated, or Forza 5 is not supporting this wheel properly, but the accuracy of this wheel is severely lacking. I am still working on proper settings, but I have not found a setting that is accurate. It has horrible over and under steer with this wheel, even when adjusting the dead zones. If I find an appropriate configuration, I will share it. But it has been a challenge to find on. This wheel is amazing in other driving games, but in Forza 5 it is limited so far. I love this wheel, but it may not be the best choice for Forza 5.

I've owned this set for three months, I upgraded to this from a G27 w/GTEYE spring. Wheel FFB is much more detailed and smoother, particularly around the center. There's handily a few more available buttons on the wheel and a nice dial switch, but the paddles don't seem to have quite as positive an engagement as on the G27. The wheel diameter is slightly larger than the G27, good for GT cars but a little on the large side for open wheelers. The alcantara fabric feels expensive and supple on the hands, although it began to get a little gummy after a couple of weeks due to sweat - I've picked up a set of karting gloves to keep it clean during use. Since the pedals were essentially a 'free' bonus (at the time of purchase it was the same price for this set as a base servo & alcantara wheel bought individually), it doesn't bother me much but I'd be less than impressed if I'd bought them standalone. I work nights and play for a couple of hours after I get home, but before everyone else wakes up...which means fairly low volume on the home theatre for me (it shares a wall with our master bedroom) and I have no complaints. Anyone playing at normal volumes will be hard pressed to hear it at all. The star of the show is the wheel itself. The Alcantara is nice, and won't make your hands uncomfortable after a while like a rubber wheel can. In my case, using this for a PS3/PS4, I had to look up a diagram to be able to drive. The rotating switch on the bottom right corner is a nice touch, but I'm a bit skeptical on its longevity. My impressions after using this fairly heavily for two weeks now, and it has exceeded my expectations. 2) T3PA pedal set - This is one of the reasons I bought this kit, b/c it has a clutch pedal. At first glance the pedals are mostly plastic (I don't know why Thrustmaster pushes the metal pedals bit, as it seems the only metal on them is the faceplate itself). I installed the conical brake mod to make the brake feel more real, and I believe it works well. The clutch takes some getting used to, but it's probably more my timing than the device. I question how well-made the pedals are though. I already need to contact support because one of the pedal screws got stuck halfway in as I was adjusting the pedal position! Whatever securing mechanism they use inside the pedal broke, and it just spins around but won't go in or out.

Pros: The wheel rim is gorgeous. It has such a nice feel, and looks amazing. FFB is nice and strong and the base seems to cope well with it wound up high. Base and wheel together feel reassuringly heavy and sturdy. The gear paddles are substantial and have a satisfying click when used. An absolute steal for the price.Cons: The pedals! The pedals are, by far, the weakest point of this whole package. This is mostly improved by the addition of an optional brake mod shipped along with the wheel, but honestly the mod wouldn't be necessary if the brake pedal itself just had a bit more (or adjustable) resistance. Readjusting the brake mod every time I switch games is something I don't look forward to.

Pros: I was getting back into sim racing but on a budget. I had a t300 before and i bought a Ferrari Alcantara wheel separately for it. So i choose this as i knew what it would be like. My only concern was, was it old stock.
