Amazing wheel - First venture into driving sim, and indeed this is my first wheel. So not a lot to compare to, other than a friends Logitech G29 - which is way below the quality of this wheel from my limited experience. This one is fantastic on PS4, PS5 and PC so far, with easy setup and switching between the consoles etc. The force feedback is amazing, super powerful and I've not yet taken it above 50% - Have used it on Gran Turismo 7 - works flawlessly as it does with Forza, Grid Legends and Need for Speed too. What can I say. I love it and it will forever change driving games for me now. They just feel so much better with this wheel. Scan, as always, super super rapid on dispatch and delivery, quality smooth transaction - Always a pleasure to buy from.

I have been using racing wheels the last 15 years, having raced with all the logitech's and thrustmaster's that have FFB at least. From all those toys, the T300 and TX base are by far the most VFM wheels on the market, it's FFB is much much better than the G2x line and not that worse comparing it to bigger models of the same company that cost an arm and leg. So if someone wants to get into simracing on a budget this is imho the wheel line to choose before going Direct Drive. The thrustmaster eco system is also a bonus where you can choose lots of wheels and accessories as well, although the cost can escalate quickly with all those stuff. The only downside is that the stock 2 pedals that come with the t300rs and tx 458 italia are a joke compare to the logitech ones, ... Only the more expensive t3pa pro model is build like a tank, yet still a simple potentiometer based system. All in all a great choise. And don't forget to ALWAYS HAVE FORCED COOLING MODE ON if youbwant to avoid heat related issues that made yhis wheel famoys for the wrong reasons when it was released. All those bad reviews were because the fan would start to operate once the heat build up, that caused stress to the wheel components. With the latest firmware you canturn the fan on manually and the wheel never even gets hot, so 90%of these issues are history. Thanks for reading

I did quit a bit of reserch prior to purchasing the T300rs. It is a little on the expensive side for a beginner but was recommened to be the best wheel in it's class in most reviews. The wheel works great but it has taken me a couple weeks to learn the adjustment and find setting that I prefer to use for differant cars and tracks. You will definitely need a good sturdy rig or very stable table/ desk. Or you can forget using this wheel. As righit out of the box, my first impression was that this thig is VIOLENT. (And that was using a sturdy mount) If you are new to sim racing don't expect to take this wheel right out of the box and be competive To be fair, I waited a couple of weeks to give this review. I can now say I love the wheel, having a lot of fun with it during the cold lazy weather. Still learning the wheel, still having some WHAT THE ! moments, while now racing competitively and winning some races. I highly recommend the Thrustmaster T300rs and rate it as the best wheel in it's price range.
This wheel is a huge upgrade over my 10 year old Logitech DFGT. Anyone considering upgrading from gear driven to belt, I can say first hand you wish you did it sooner. This combined with the TH8A shifter makes for an incredibly immersive experience. The build quality of the wheel is solid, it feels nice to hold and use, and has plenty of functions. My only con is the "quick release" system isn't very quick, but a very nice feature nonetheless. As for scan, they have been brilliant yet again. Order was picked within an hour and dispatched the same day to DPD and arrived the next day. Scan gave updates at every step of the way.TL;DR excellent product, excellent service
I've switched from an old T150, I didn't have the clamp on it anymore, it was a real hassle to drive with it.This new wheel is INCREDIBLE ! I use it with a TH8A, and it's completely amazing, I've never enjoyed simracing this much. The force feedback is amazing, the wheel is very silent, and it's really smooth. The paddles are really good, and feel great too. Buttons are really good and don't feel cheap at all.The only negative things I've seen on this wheel are ; the screwing system for the wheel feels extremely cheap and it's pretty complicated to tighten. It's also hard to tighten the clamp correctly, it always hit the clamp in itself. Other than that the wheel is amazing. For the pedals now, it's my first time using a 3 pedals system. And oh boi it's ... MoreI've switched from an old T150, I didn't have the clamp on it anymore, it was a real hassle to drive with it.This new wheel is INCREDIBLE ! And oh boi it's good. The metal pedals feel amazing, and no, it's not cold at all. Even barefoot, it's completely bearable. There's a little brake stopper included in the box, which let's you stop your brake a little sooner, to enhance the simulation. Haven't tested it myself, but it's probably good to try.To sum up a bit what I said, I highly recommend this wheel, it's the perfect wheel to buy that is in a pretty decent budget (considering the price of some wheels). It's a great way to get into sim racing, and if you're doubting, just go for it, it's worth it !P.S Don't forget to install the drivers before using it, or your pc will not recognize it.
The T300 RS feels a lot better than the G29 that I had previously. However, the pedals are a different story! The new software always shows the clutch when I step on the throttle. I have tried several so called fixes and nothing works. The throttle can be set to work in most sims but this problem should never have happened in the first place. Also - there is another problem in the pedal mounting. You will need to get out your cordless drill and move the pedals about 3 inches to the right in order to make them feel like a real car.
Bought about 1 month ago. After a slightly more difficult installation of the steering wheel (You have to set it to PS3 mode red light) it was ready for use on PC. Maybe missing a little more strength in the force feedback and more buttons on the steering wheel. Watch out for Clipping, this is when the steering wheel tries to give more information through the force feedback than it can manage and it will become a kind of electronic toothbrush effect. This shortens the lifespan considerably if you do not change settings to avoid it. Otherwise, it's perfectly worth the money, completely up-to-date.
Pros: The wheelbase and supplied wheel makes for a very good starting point to get into the thrustmaster ecosystem.Responsive force feedback and smooth action. It was heavily discounted at time of purchase so made sense to go for the T300 instead of the T248 or G29/920.Once dialled in, tuned and calibrated, it totally transformed my experience on Forza Motorsport 7, Assetto Corsa/Competizione and Project Cars 2 in terms of immersion and consistency.Modularity is a strong selling point which I'll touch on in improvements. Will look into the Sparco P310 or 599 XX wheel to replace the stock wheel.Cons: The standard 2 pedal setup is fit for the bin! I purchased a set of T-LCM pedals within 2 days of using it. Braking consistency and pedal feel is significantly better ... I've modded the quick release collar with a 3D printed lock ring you commonly see online to do away with the flimsy screw. The supplied wheel rim does the job and has more than enough buttons for functionality, but I do find the rim diameter a bit too small. But, you can readily buy other wheel rims to suit your needs.
This is my first force feedback wheel. I wanted something entry level, and well it's super fun to use!I don't have a stand or a cockpit to install it into but the servo base and the pedals do have threads on the underside so you can secure them onto many different stands or cockpits. Right now I have it installed to a small table just fine, it comes with a bracket that goes underneath tables or desks that connects to the wheel base via hand screw, kinda like how a regular C-clamp works. You can swap the actual steering wheels out with other compatible wheels by loosening a small set screw and a few twists of the main connecting piece. After about a week of use the pedals started to make a low squeek noise when lifting of the gas and applying the break at the ... Not really a big deal to me since I'm using headphones, and I'm sure it's nothing a little All-in-One oil or grease couldn't fix if you were to take them apart.
