Great knob, but *very* lightweight. I took a tiny ziplock bag and filled it with lead fishing weights and put that inside the knob before putting the threaded insert in, to give it some more heft. It feels much better this way, but is still kinda light.\n\nAlso be careful with the threaded inserts, one of mine split between the print layers when screwing it in (by hand, so not a lot of force...). Fortunately the shop includes an extra!

I’m not sure how to rate this, on one hand, it works great and makes the shifter feel SO much better. One the other hand, it was an absolute nightmare to install, especially with the lack of instructions. They need to include directions with this two piece design. The one piece design versions are super easy to install and pretty self explanatory. Also, it was too large, I had to run one side of both parts on a belt sander to get it to fit properly. Once I figured out the trick to actually getting this thing installed, it was easy. But the 15 minutes leading up to that made me want to just toss it in the trash, which I almost did. Now that it’s installed, i am quite happy with it.

I’m writing this because I purchased this without doing any homework and found out this does not work with the Logitech G29 wheel. So I called to cancel the order.I called the provided # and was able to talk to a HUMAN fast and with little to no hassle! The order was promptly cancelled in 24hrs.The other shifter I purchased from B&H works great and arrived within 3 days! New lifetime customer, thanks again!

Solid Multifunction shifter without spending a fortune.

This is a solid addition to any racing sim. I feel it balances the features to price ratio just right. Below it is the Logitech shifter that feels more like a toy and doesn't have the ability to shift from H-pattern to sequential (granted it's a little tedious removing the cover plate, and above it you have offerings from Fanatec that while doing everything this does better is usually only found at double the price (unless used or you get lucky). The desk clamp works well enough but I only used it for a few days before I hard mounted it to a racing seat. Can interface with either a Thrustmaster wheel or via usb for standalone operation. Don't much care for the location of the connection to the Thrustmaster as the cable is a bit short to adequately route on my right ... MoreThis is a solid addition to any racing sim. There are plenty of mods available to adjust the feel and throw and aftermarket gated shifter plates to suit a preference and I may add the tension increase one as it feels a little loose to me but it's definitely not a deal breaker. I highly recommend for anyone wishing to up their sim experience.

Works great, only recieved 1 of the plates

Got this for a great price compared to new, I purchased this along with the T3PA pedals separately.Prompt delivery, items came clean and working well so far. Only thing that keeps me from 5 stars is that from new this comes with 2 interchangable shifter plates. The listing did state it had both plates as well as on my receipt I recieved in the box but yet I only recieved the Hshifter plate so I'm missing the other.Other than that the shifter works fine, minor marks as to be expected but nothing to get upset about.

I am more than satisfied with this shifter so far.The pros:Feels high qualityAbility to switch to SequentialFeels durable and toughSuper easy setup in pc and in gamesThe cons:Shifting feels slightly loose (very slightly)This may just be the game, but in Beamng.drive sometimes shifts wouldn't register and I had to 'reshift'Can't think of anything else.I've only had this shifter for a couple of weeks and have played Asseto Corsa, Beamng.drive, and Forza Horizon 5. I consider this a huge upgrade over the logitech shifter, and I think it's definitely worth the price for the upgrade. I haven't run into any big issues with it i the short time I've had it. Highly recommend so far.

I have driven automatic cars my whole life, but for playing racing games or Truck Simulator I really like having the added control and activity that manually switching gears provides. Feel more like a racer or a trucker.Quality is great, feels heavy and solid and mostly metal. Mounted perfectly to my wheelstand pro with RGS upgrade. Quality and functionality-wise I've had no issues with this shifter, it recognized automatically in Forza Horizon 5 without any configuration at all, and was very easy to configure in Truck Simulator with an SKRS truck shifter knob on it. I searched forums and the Thrustmaster website for hours trying different solutions, downloading different drivers, asking more questions, and etc. with no luck.I then reached out to Thrustmaster customer support and 5 days later (the day I am writing this review), still nothing back. Because of that, I am returning it and won't be buying from them again unless they can remedy the situation. It truly is a shame because I was really hoping to have all Thrustmaster simulation gear.Between my own experience and those that I have read about and talked to online, these are the conclusions I have came to:1. when it works, these shifters are very well liked and incredibly nice. Having a H-panel gear shift with the option to make it a sequential shifter really is a rarity and a fantastic option to have.2. A TON of people have issues with them and while it is advertised as plug and play it isn't at all for the vast majority of people.3. While the device itself feels sturdy, according to an overwhelming amount of forum posts, the cabling is shoddy at best and often times has to be positioned just right for the shifter to connect.4. Thrustmaster's website's data, FAQ, and tutorials/explanations are outdated. Many of the pages and explanations no longer exist.5. Along with their info being outdated, they should do an update to their software. It was very obviously created (probably) about 12-15 years ago, and doesn't seem to have been updated at all. A name change would also be nice. its annoying to have to figure out which control panel opens computer or Thrustmaster settings.6. Maybe its not a common thing, but Thrustmaster customer service seems pretty bad, even for Covid-19 times.Overall my experience with this product was sadly one star even though I know if it worked correctly, it would deserve 5 stars. If you decide to buy it, I hope it works for you. I would suggest not destroying or getting rid of any of the packaging until you use it for a couple of days.
