Thule sportPros:1. Love that the side windows can me removed for good airflow circulation.2. My 2 year old prefers this stroller over our main stroller (bugaboo donkey 5).3. Perfect for putting my 2 year old to sleep.Cons:1. The front wheels. They are too small. If you walk over some leaves, a leaf can get caught between the wheel and the wheel holder and make a constant noise. Easy fix to remove the leaf, but a little bit annoying. They also move up and down on uneven ground, so, that makes some clacking noise.Thule sells a big front jogging wheel, but it doesn’t swivel, so, is probably a pain to turn.2. There are a few small things that I wish were different, but, overall is very good.

The one common thing with all amazing products is the little moments of surprise you experience at how well a thing works. Its small moments of delight. This product is expensive, make no mistake, but you get what you pay forIt is an extremely well made and well thought out bit of engineering. I've been biking my kids around for two weeks now and I'm blown away with the ease of use. On a few moments I rode by a light pole expecting a bump, but nothing. I rode over a a narrow sidewalk with uneven dirt on the right and yet again nothing. At least one of my two children has fallen asleep on each occassion, so it is a comfortable ride for them. Its amazing. For city biking it is absolutely fantastic. You wont regret the splurge. I assure you.

I am a third time dad. With my first kid we got a knock off chariot style stroller from a store and it barely got used. It was a decent product but just not as user friendly as I had envisioned. With my second we got a second hand chariot and I used it everyday running with my son in the mornings. My wife would swap out the front wheel for the bike trailer attachment and take him biking in the afternoon. With our newest addition to the family we upgraded to the chariot sport 2 seater and purchased the jogging wheel/bike attachment/ AND the cross country ski kit as well as the storage shelf. I am in love. The newest lineup is super ergonomic and easy to switch between modes. It folds up but caution it is still large and we only transport it in the truck. This is a great dual use cart for my kids. I love that they can climb into it on their own, and the zip off sides are a nice touch to keep it as cool as possible for warm day rides. The price seems tough but resale is awesome on these when done with them, I sold our single seat Thule Cheetah XT for close to retail very fast. Super sturdy build, collapsing it and changing it from bike cart to 4 wheel stroller is easy. Storage holds a lot more than it looks like at first glance. Enough room for two, but narrow enough to fit through doors when you don’t want to leave it out. All around an awesome home base for my kids for any outing we’re on.
Fast shipping, bought this for my 6-month year old twins. Can't wait to hook it up to my bike when they are about 1 year old but for now planning to use it for small adventures. The disc brakes had to be adjusted using a 3mm hex key because it was rubbing out of the box. Pretty expensive but purchased it during a Thule nationwide sale. It's pretty big and because my kids are so young they need extra $$$ inserts (under 18 months). Something to be aware of. Ended up getting the other accessories to max it out.Looking forward to the next couple of years of use.
We’ve been on the fence about getting a chariot for a while. We bought a used single version when we had our first son and have been on the fence about getting a double seater for a while. Finally, after deciding we could get one stroller that would work as a good regular stroller, a jogging stroller, and a bike stroller - eliminating the fleet of strollers we currently had - we pulled the trigger.I’m a huge fan of the asthetics, and it gets compliments everywhere we go. Folding it down and getting it compact enough to travel for weekend road-trips with two kids, luggage, and a dog is possible and not a massive chore. Swapping from running to stroller is east, as is the bike to stroller swap. I think the extra cost of this model to include the brake and other extras is worth it.I do wish that there was an internal snack tray option for the kids. As it is, without one, I’m very hesitant to let the kids eat inside and I haven’t found any options by Thule or other vendors to include one. Seems like a massive oversight.
While the product line states "The ultimate trailer, jogger, and stroller with great performance, comfort, and style for athletes and their kids. Includes Standard, Comfort, and Sport Package", it does not actually include the jogging kit or skies, which was very surprising. To pay an extra $400 above the base model and not actually have any significant extra product is extremely disappointing. The first line of the Features page indicates "4 activities – designed to excel when you bike, jog, stroll, and ski"; again though, neither jogging nor ski kits are included. At the very least, I would expect somewhere on the page for it to specify this, as the product description and the pictures on the product page suggest otherwise. Save your $400, and get the base model with the additional kits you'll have to purchase anyways. At least when you buy children's toys they specify "Batteries not included", you'd expect the same level of transparency from such a high priced product. Would not buy again, would not recommend to my family/friends.
The build quality and versatility of the features make this worthwhile. The streets to the store have much rougher sidewalks and I needed a better built stroller as well as having a more comfortable/safer solution to bring kids on a bicycle ride. Being able to switch back and forth makes it so convenient. Bonus: they feel much more comfortable and secure going through a crowded park or building because they're inside a "car"Pros:•Best performance. As a stroller, it accelerates so smoothly, brakes are strong, great turning radius, very quiet and easy to push, it wafts easily over large sidewalk curbs (popping front wheels up is effortless), rolls smoothly with no speed loss over uneven, thick grass, a pleasure to use.As a trailer its excellent. It feels just as smooth, with no drag on the bicycle.•Excellent quality materials and craftmanship•Sunshade, Rain cover, Ventilation all work well and much better than the average double stroller with add-onsThe fully enclosed mesh design is such a great feature for places with lots of mosquitos.•Wheels very easy to remove, install on the go•Storage area is huge and can hold a good amount of grocery•Materials are very rugged and easy to wipe down/clean•Top notch sleek stylish design. Kids seem happy with how spacious it is.Cons:•Clicking up the roll cage takes a little more effort and getting used to due to the strength needed for safety. It is not a one-handed fully deployed in 2 seconds deal.•I wish the rain cover could snap on the same way as the sun shade cover so its slightly more taut•The brake locking pedal is on the flimsy side compared to everything else. I wish it were on the handle bar instead or have a stronger spring-click feeling similar to a car pedal e brake.•It should come with the storage cover and tray instead of having to buy it separately
We love our Thule chariot sport! Our 5 month old twins love the smooth ride. The wheels go easily through snow so we can go for walks even when it's cold out. When it's really cold, we zip up the vents and put the rain cover on which fits nice and tight, completely enclosing them. Throw in a rice bag between the babies and they fall fast asleep. We do use stroller bags for them (not Thule brand) which helps keep their bodies warm, but their faces are never chilly and their noses aren't even red when they're all closed in. The sun shade fits nicely under the rain cover as well so it's easy to adjust without exposing them to the elements. We have a ton of room inside, as well as great sized storage under the handle. We already got the cup holder attachment (I wish it came standard with that) and are ordering the roof rack for extra storage as well. For the average family they could probably get by with the storage offered standard on the chariot sport but we have duplicates of many things so we need the extra space right now. We can't wait to try it out behind a bike and we will also be purchasing the running wheel for the spring time! If you're an active family who likes to adventure out in any weather but you're on the fence about getting one, just get it. You won't regret it.
We got the Chariot for our 8-month-old baby (we have one baby at the moment, thinking about a second, hence the two-seater), and this thing is GREAT. I'm very impressed by how well-made and well-designed it is; this thing has exceptional build quality. When my wife and I set it up, we kept saying "wow, this thing is legit."I find that the standard setup (with two rear wheels and two front wheels) works fine for jogging, so we aren't planning to get the jogging setup. We might feel differently if we were going to regularly do trail running with it, but it works great on dirt/gravel roads with the standard setup. We also got the cross-country ski setup and totally love it.
