I have been using a multi-purpose cooker to cook rice, but not really happy about the cooked rice quality. The Tiger cooks rice perfectly fluffy. Very happy with the result. The measuring cup provided and the levels of water marked in the pot makes it so easy to add the water to the rice. Extremely satisfied with the Tiger.

Expensive item but good quality of rice cooked on this one , hot rice always ready and can keep for 2-3 days in the cooker.
Although expensive, I understand with rice cookers you general get what you pay for. I was also told to get Asian build. Ths one is build in Japan, they should know how to cook rice properly by now! Give restaurant quality plain rice, but I have't tried the other features. Better than any rice I have ever been able to cook by any other method, Thoroughly recommended
Really quality rice cooker. Keep the rice nice, soft and which over 24-28hrs regardless if it’s on warm or turn off or keep warm.

It doesn't cook rice properly. Ive tried cooking rice a few times already and it's either burnt at the bottom of the rice or really soggy. The middle of the rice is not cooked and it the pot is extremely hot at the bottom. I have been using the old version of the Tiger rice cooker for over 10 years and never had a problem. To make things worse, it comes with a repair warranty, not a refund or exchange warranty. I'm so unhappy with this rice cooker, I've wasted my money and I'm stuck with this rubbish.
Great rice cooker. Very easy to clean simply rinse and wipe it dry. I needed to practice to get the rice water ratio correct but once that was mastered the rice comes out perfectly everytime! the one annoying thing is that it doesn't have a excess water catcher like other cookers which is quite annoying.
