This machine is designed for a family that eats large amounts rice on a daily basis. The quality and speed this produces tasty rice is astounding. Highly recommended but obviously the price is a sticking point. But this is justified if you use it everyday over several years. I don't think it's really that bad given time saved cooking etc.

I bought this rice cooker over 3 years ago and it’s still working perfectly fine. I use it almost every day!!! It makes fluffy Japanese rice that is perfect for sushi or as a side dish but I also use it for brown rice, sweet rice and even mixed rice dishes like takikomi gohan. Cooking the rice takes a while on ultra mode but I can prepare other dishes while the rice is cooking and it always turn out perfect, never brunt or raw. I can’t imagine life without this rice cooker!!!
Just bought this from BingLee... please don't waste your money. DOA. Package was damaged when I got it delivered today. horrible waste of a huge amount of money. these maybe were good many years ago. now I doubt they will last the warranty period. I would of liked mine to at least turn on once from new. Now I have to waste my time and money to hopefully get a refund and never try this brand again! PLEASE AVOID THIS -
This rice cooker adds that little extra to make rice taste just that little bit better. A little fluffier and tastier. It costs more but imho it’s worth it. Typical Japanese high quality product
Looking at the quality of material, you can see where your money went to. Inner pot is thick and sturdy. The steaming tray is great. The lid has heating in it which makes heat distribution even in the pot. I can leave my rice in there for a day or two and it is fine (does get dryer the longer you leave it). If you are a rice eater and cook rice all the time, this is the cooker for you. It will last you a long time. I have mine for over a year now and it still looks like when I bought it. Works great as a slow cooker too. I used it to make beef curry and cabbage stew. I doesn't need long to make your food soft.
Looks great and cooks perfect rice. And keep-warm function is superb. It doesnt make the cooked rice dry. Made by the people knows rice the best. Highly recommended.
Brilliant at cooking all types of rice. Even heat from the induction system means that you don’t get any burnt bits of rice. Also the removable pit feels solid and great quality.
I bought this product hoping I would eat great quality of rice. However it is very hard to adjust water level and if you get it wrong rice doesn’t come out nice and I have trouble understanding why they made it so hard to consumers to control that and I truly believe it’s not worth the price and they should feel shame about the product. I also used steamer function and it didn’t function properly at all and food can’t be cooked well. I am really really disappointed in this product and I should never have paid this much money for rice cooker. Total disappointment and I don’t recommend this product at all.
