Our cats loved the Tiki Cat Variety pack of seafood combinations that actually looked like what it was supposed to be. There were real chunks of sardines, and the tuna smelled like opening a can of Coral tuna. Even our cat that is a picky eater couldn't get enough of this stuff

When my two gals were kittens, Tiki Cat food was the very first food I fed them. They both ate it with relish. After about a year, they decided they didn't like it anymore - not one, but both cats. So I stopped buying it for a while. I always use a very wide variety of canned food for my cats, ranging from the "best", down to Fancy Feast, being the "lowest" I will go. I find this is healthier for them, giving them a wide variety of choices with different nutritional values. They will not develop food allergies this way and creates a "less fussy" atmosphere. Anyway, I tried it again about a year ago. Still no go. I don't understand why they consumed Tiki with relish and then both decided, "YUCK! We won't eat this anymore!" Honestly, I think something changed with the food or the processing, because I have never seen my cats reject any food so whole-heartedly. It's just weird. Period.

My cats love the dry Tiki food so I figured this would be a good follow up. WRONG... they all disliked it. I love Homes Alive Pets they have fast delivery to my remote location, and of course it is not their fault. The site offers numerous types of pet products, but this will not be on my list again.

Hi my name is Loki and I somehow became the lucky recipient of a bottle of this shampoo. After I used it I was asked to share my opinion about it on your website. I am still a hyper puppy so on my person's day off we go hiking together. I am a hiking, camping, swimming Georgia Mountain dog. Last weekend I went for a hike and when I came off the mountain I was a muddy smelly mess. I loaded up in the car and when we got to grandma and grandpa's they made me take a bath! Something about people coming over? I worked hard and walked a lot of miles to get this messy but nope. They ruined it. Can you believe that?! Thank goodness my aunt left some of this shampoo for me to use and share my thoughts. Well I guess the bath was ok. And even though the shampoo straight out of the bottle is a little strong, by the time the shampoo was washed off I was left with a shiny coat and no lasting scent. Once I was dried off grandma let me into the house and the first thing I did was jump on the couch. I guess the shampoo really worked well because next thing I know she came over and gave me a kiss. That's not all. The very next day 30 people came over to play with me! I am not sure how I got so lucky but there were little kids too and they rolled around with me and said I was so handsome. Thank you for sending me some shampoo so that I would look handsome and make so many new friends at the party! Loki
I’ve tried to get higher quality foods before for my cat. She’s been a pretty adamant about the only eating Friskies for years. I figured might as well try again to see if I could get her to eat a healthier brand. She’s loved every can in this variety pack to the point where she gets pretty territorial over it and doesn’t let my other cat chase her away. I gave one of each type to my sister to give to get teen cats. They all loved it as well to the point where my sister considered buying it. It’s a bit out of her price range, so Tiki Cats will probably be a once in a blue moon when the cats are particularly good type of treat.
So, I had been feeding my cats Science Diet for 4 yrs, along with various healthier wet food, and occasional chicken or fish that I cooked. I recently to switch shops, as my local ( Mom&Pop) health food store had to close, and thus I went to a larger store that carried Tiki Cat. One of my cats had been suffering a cold, and when I popped the Tiki that I bought, he lit up like it was Christmas. Now, he's a total convert, especially for anything with Mackerel. The other kitty is more a dry food kind of girl, and has usually not taken to wet; She's a total convert as well, especially loving the varieties that come with the little shrimp ( She steals the shrimp from his portion, but he doesn't seem to care...). My cat developed hyperthyroidism after years of eating Tiki Cat only. The hyperthyroidism wreaked havoc on his heart and killed him. He had been in perfect health before I started feeding him Tiki Cat. After doing research, I found out that PBDEs (flame retardant chemicals) in seafood and excess added iodine are the most likely causes. Consequently, I sent Petropics e-mails asking them about the PBDEs and iodine level in their food, but they never responded. I wish I had never heard of Tiki Cat. I am so angry and heartbroken that my cat has died and Petropics can't be bothered. Hopefully this review will save someone's cat and prevent him or her from going through the pain of losing a pet.
I adopted my kitten Molly a month and a week ago. She is now 4 months old. Initially, her foster mom and rescue center put her on a steady diet of IAMs and Fancy Feast Kitten. They told me to stick to those since she's been faring well and didn't have diarrhea on her diet. However, they gave her deworming meds the day I adopted her and I came home with a kitten absolutely wrought with the runs. I kept feeding her the same food, and also started her on some probiotics (the probiotics helped a ton. It's called "Proviable-KP Probiotic Digestive Health Supplement Kit for Cats and Small Dogs, 15mL" on Amazon). Then I decided to do some research on IAMS and Fancy Feast. As a new, first-time kitten mom, I have no idea the state of the pet food industry, but I doubted I would find much good information. Sure enough, I found that IAMs is chock full of corn and other fillers (and that it's own by MARS. Yes, MARS. The producer of your favorite, terrible-for-you candy bars), and that Fancy Feast Kitten is just pure crap and that it's owned by NESTLE (URGH!). I put her on Fancy Feast Kitten Naturals since the ingredients are loads better and because Petco doesn't even offer regular Fancy Feast Kitten anymore as they want to offer better stuff, but I knew I had to find another line of cat food that is purely about holistic ingredients and honesty. I then did more research and decided on the Tiki Cat line. I got the King Kam canned cat foods (that are apparently appropriate for all life stages) and the kitten kibbles. Just as reviewers said, the King Kam canned foods are absolutely disgusting looking, and my kitten wouldn't touch the stuff even when mixed into her usual Fancy Feast Naturals. I honestly thought she'd be different from all those negative reviewers' cats, but I was very wrong. Also, the line is sourced from and made in Thailand. That's a far ways away. Customer support is also apparently nonexistent. Furthermore, the kibbles turned out to be way too expensive for having "chicken meal" as the second ingredient (I did a bunch of research on the controversial and confusing topic of animal meals, and there is simply NO way of knowing the quality of such a cryptic ingredient. Also, what the heck is "natural chicken flavor" in the kibbles?). Do yourself and your cat's health a favor and simply buy Halo. You'll thank me later!
I paused my subscription and was sent the food anyway. It is a scam to take our money - it takes too long to complain and get a refund so they ignore pauses and resets and send anyway. Beware of this con, this scam, which only natural pet uses. The expensive food shows up on your doorstep and you are out the money whether you asked for it or not. Shame on them. In any case there are plenty of reputable pet food stores that ship - no need to use only natural pet and I advise you against it.
I started feeding Rad Cat when my 11.5 year old Siamese was diagnosed with diabetes. He needed a low-carbohydrate diet that would help him maintain hydration. The cause of diabetes in his case was a rarely diagnosed disease called acromegaly (pituitary tumor) causing unregulated secretion of growth hormone and insulin resistance. He became dehydrated easily. This food helps him stay hydrated without having to resort to sub-Q fluids (which he resists). Vets will not recommend raw diets due to the increased risk of infection from E.Coli and salmonella bacteria, but if your cat is older and has a serious illness you don't have a lot to lose anyway. This food has helped my cat.
