Tilda brown basmati rice really is excellent. I've tried various other brands that were cheaper but keep coming back to this. Usually, I cook their dried packet rice and use it over a couple of days, but this is a great standby for when time is of the essence. A store cupboard essential.

My wife says that this brown rice is good for me, I prefer the taste of white!!White rice cooks in less than half the time this takes so I think I'm putting my health before the planets global warning problems - sorry folks!

Often use these - and if it's just me I cook half in a microwavable pot with a small vent and keep the rest in the fridge for the. next day. You can give it a good stir in the pot too which helps definitely. More expensive than cooking rice from scratch obviously but oh so tempting and healthy anyway.
We usually cook rice from scratch. However this is great to have in the store cupboard for when you are short of time, or when you want to add cooked rice to a stir fry or similar dish. The rice is nice and soft but still maintains its integrity.
These are great for last minute cooking. I tend to stir fry, rather than microwave. Tasty and I like the other flavours they do too.
This is perfect for those days where you don?t want to cook. Perfect fluffy soft rice which is ready in a couple of minutes. I?m a big fan of wholegrain rice anyway abs Tilda?s definitely tastes the best.
Tilda Microwave Lemon & Herbs Basmati Rice has the perfect lemon and herb flavour, which is subtle, not over powering. It makes a great side dish, and is a delicious addition to my chicken and rice soup.
Use to but this a lot as o a health kick started buying again before it was lovely and fluffy and tasted nice. Last 3 packs have been watery oily almost and stodgy really not nice at all. I did but 2 packs of white and two brown the white is fine tastes as it should but the brown one its defo over cooked and vile wont buy again shame to as this brand was my favourite. Got a refund from asda so no hard done really excpet having to find a new brand or cook my own
Having several Vegan and Veggie friends this is the best rice to have on standby for a quick & easy backing for a Quorn Chilli sin Carne. Always stock up when on offer!
