The rice packaging is also good, the zip is nice option to keep the rice fresh. And I use it out of the original packaging, without transferring all contents into another storage box.The delivery was also nice and fast. the cardboard box was used to keep the rice and no problem at all. Everything is great, so I do not have any complaints from my purchase from Amazon. Btw, in terms of price, its a bargain I guess.

I received this as a complimentary sample and I was really impressed. It's very quick and easy to prepare, has a high fibre content, and isn't at all mushy like lots of other ready to eat rice packages. It was very tasty and it's so nice to have something that's so simple to prepare but is still a healthy option. I've already been to the store to pick up some more!

Nuke for two minutes and perfect rice. Although we prefer to cook our rice the old-fashioned way, sometimes we are in a hurry or tired and this is a great option. It's perfectly seasoned, albeit plain (no cardamom etc.). However there are flavoured options in the line like coconut and sweet chili-lime. I also like the portion control as it's easy to go overboard on carbs.

10Kg x 2 of Tilda Pure Basmati Rice

First time customer experience. High quality product. Fast and efficient service at a competitive price.Unfortunately one of the sacks was split down its side seem, spilling about 2Kg rice into the outer box casing.The strong casing held and we were able to retrieve the spilled grains from inside the corrugated box.However this shouldn't have happened. There was no sign of transit damage to the outer casing indicating damage done by the warehouse packer ?

Can't be beaten on taste or convenience. Lovely stuff.

Impossible to beat good real Basmati rice. I believe it's grown in the foothills of the Himalayas. No other rice has the same supremely aromatic and delicious taste. A few years ago an Indian person was asked what he would choose if he knew it was his last meal. He said a plain bowl of Basmati Rice. Can't blame him for that choice. This product has been par-cooked by a dry-steam method that sterilizes it but doesn't detract from the wonderful taste. All this range are best decanted from the packet into a microwave bowl and then gently squeeze out any little lumps and clusters of grains using fingers or a fork - but not mashing it up. The grains stay fluffy and separate and have the same taste as basmati cooked by the absorption method. I love it and eat it almost daily.

The taste is great, but lets face it, rice is not the main constituent of a meal. You would hope that whatever it is accompanying is going to be the star of the show. What makes this rice special is the simplicity of cooking. No more measuring quantiles of water to rice and boiling (what seems like) endlessly, or under cooking for fear of a soggy mess. Just peel back the packaging at the top of the bag and microwave for 2 minutes. Perfect rice every time (you may need to fork through a couple of clumps sometimes, but that is not exactly hard work). Plus, no pans to wash. Handy pack

This is a great pack of rice to have in your cupboard. Easy to microwave in a couple of minutes. Rice is fluffy and is great with curry or chilli con carne. Also great to use in a stir fry. I have tried many different varieties of Tilda and they all taste good. Usually buy when on a special offer as I think they are quite expensive.

Lovely nutty rice. Bag could be better.

This delicious rice has largely usurped Tilda's snow-white basmati in my kitchen. Even if it is pre-rinsed a little scum rises up, but that is easily spooned away or washed off. Although the bag has a recyclable logo, I wonder whether it will be rejected because it is made of mixed materials - a plastic zip-lock and what seems to be coated foil. There are always stray grains of rice sitting on top of the zip that can make a bit of a mess when the bag is first opened. Bafflingly, the tear guides are below the zip, so that if you used them, instead of cutting above it with scissors, you would rip it away and have no means of re-closing the bag. And the 'easy carry handle' is not at all obvious. But this large quantity is good value.

Reliable Tilda Ready Cooked Rice

Whrn I purchased this I didn't realise it was ready cooked rice that just needs heating up. Maybe that should be shown in the description. Nothing wrong with the product but quite expensive way if you need more servings as the pack was only one serving. Tilda is always a reliable brand for basmati rice. The rice comes out in a compressed portion out of thd pack but was able to be broken up and seperated before microwaving to heat up and once heated all the grains were fluffy.
