Phone app did activate the locator ring every time. Wish the 'loud' sound was a lot louder.Seem like having it in my wallet, so far, does not diminish tracking - great for local.Have yet to test when not at home and using remote cell phone access. I keep one of these in my wallet, in case I set it down somewhere in my house and don't remember where. I'm sure it can be used in or on many other items. I have seen someone put one of these inside a laptop.It is the size of a credit card, only 2-3 times thicker. It is extremly loud. If in your wallet, the butten on it can accidently be pressed when sitting down. It will cause your phone to ring extremly loud. I have had it happen in class, during a test, in meetings. This would be one of the few down sides I found about it.

I do love both my key fob and "slim card" for my wallet. I love this Tile Slim. It is only slightly thicker than a credit card and fits in my wallet nicely. My regular Tile was too bulky for my wallet but this one is PERFECT. Tiles are a life saver for scatter-brained people like me but really, who hasn't mislaid their keys? My Tiles have saved me from numerous possibly frustrating searches. I put one on my electric trike (just in case). The cat is next. I've also given them as gifts to several of my friends. They love them, too. Hey Tile, thanks for making my life easier!
For very long time my husband has suffered from forgetfulness. There had been times in the past where we have spent 15 minutes looking for his keys or his wallet. Finally made the plunge into buying tiles. Thought we would try the wallet on him first because conveniently, he always loses his in the house. In the last 2 weeks we have used our phone to find it at least 5 times. Cant even begin to tell you how awesome these little things are. Sadly, I want a wallet insert and they are sold out. Seriously, if you have someone who is forgetful or cant keep tabs on their wallet or key this is a must for you. Keep your sanity! The key fobs are also fantastic. Disappointing battery life. I purchased it directly from thetileapp.com. It was shipped to me on May 14, 2021. It does work fine and my usage is pretty normal as I don't really often to use it because most of the time I can locate my wallet. However its battery ran out and the most recent location history stays on July 3rd 2022, which is just less than 14 months. It does NOT last as long as THREE YEARS as it is advertised. Now i have to reTile a new one. The design is fine for me and it does fit my wallet. But you have to BEWARE of the short battery life.
The tiles are fine. when they are in didstance. I have to walk around the house before I can here the tile calling my wallet tile. I chaulk that up to being in a leather encasement. Following the circle does not always work. I lost a set of keys and the circle showed that I was all over the tile - I never did find the set of keys. if you have a Dodge RAM and have lost a key fob you know they are expensive and then to program is extra. I am glad to see that batteries can be changed out now! It was really a pain to order them all the time. Which leads to what type of year we are using? A dogss year maybe, I don't klnow, but I have not had one that has lasted a year before seeing - it's time to order batteries or what ever it states.
