The boot is overall comfortable however as a couple of people have pointed out, the colour of the leather is definately darker than the pictures make it out. The colour is more like the brown heritage smooth leather boots (but the leather being brushed instead). Though I will say that I knew that when buying the boot as I fisrt looked up some photos of other people and thought that I would be okay with the darker shade. Just keep in mind that the colour is darker than the pictures and you will not be disappointed.Another thing that I dont really like is the laces that come with the shoe are quite short. Speedhooks would've been nice but I don't know about messing with the iconic design of these so enough said about that.Overall however I'd say that I'm satisfied with the boot. They are comfortable and I haven't tried them outside yet but I hope they are warm enough. Just keep in mind that the brown colourway is really brown and not golden brown like the pictures and I would recommend buying the longer laces if you want to lace up the boots in the traditional way, and not worry about relacing the last two holes everytime.

I bought these boots 5 weeks ago in Preparation for a winter American holiday.I have been trying desperately to wear these in , but from day 1 I’ve had pain in both inside ankle bones at the point where the boot tongue seam Joins the boot. I’ve tried different lacing techniques with no success. I’ve even bought 2 ankle supports and gel bandaids which help a little. I even put a heap of leather softener on the inside of the tongue which hasn’t helped much.I can only wear the boots for short periods of time, it’s a shame as I love the design.The boot length is fine it’s just the inside ankle of both feet which rubs on this part pointedVery disappointed upon arrival in the USA I had to buy a different brand to walk around

I wear these boots on lakeside winter walks in western New York. I leave these boots at home when I go jogging. As a lifelong Timberland supporter, I continue to be impressed. These boots are swanky, warm, dry, and comfy. I opted for aftermarket insoles as I usually do, and find these to be ever so slightly larger than other size 12 boots from T. I'll wear thick socks, which is fun to do anyway, and I might buy some of those stick-on leather heel support things. Why not, right? Boots are cool. You should buy a pair today and you won't not be loving your feet sooner than you can say #sweepstakes
I love Timberlands and these boots are beautiful. Unfortunately, the sizing is ridiculous. I bought these a half size smaller and they are still at least a full size too large. I bought smaller based on reviews, but frankly, I should not have to base my decision based on random comments of other customers. To make matters worse, I bought two other pairs at the same time in my usual size--one of those is too large and one is too small. There ARE actual standard sizes, and if you are going to sell on line, there needs to be some quality control for product consistency. Now I have to spend time boxing stuff up and taking them somewhere to send them back. I shop on line because I dont want to deal with these sorts of hassles. Bought a less expensive pair of boots for the cold weather in Newark, after one day, when the sole fell off, I figured I should look into maybe getting a more reliable brand. I went to Macy’s in Jersey City and found these Timberlands in black. I immediately fell in love with them! Most boots are usually a little loose. These fit perfectly, not to snug. I tried them on with a standard pair of socks and was amazed at how comfortable they were. I was also able to wear them with a thick winter sock and they still felt amazing. Wore them immediately, lots of walking and still NO blisters or sore feet. They were a little more than I expected to spend but they are totally worth the price! i highly recommend picking yourself up a pair.

"Best girlfriend", "best gift I have received from a girlfriend" needless to say with the help of Timberland....nailed it. Unfortunately my research on size was way off as he ware a 13 sneaker and boots sizes run differently. Timberland customer service is off the charts supportive and helpful. I spoke with multiple agents who were nothing but kind in helping me navigate a return and purchase of the correct size. The Classic stable 6 inch in RUST/ORANGE is a great color to have in your wardrobe, and the instant comfort with not breaking in is the sign of a great boot. I love them! I Have purchased this same exact boot for decades. i run through alot of these in my work field. this was the first time i got them from Macy's. immediately the box was completely different than what i have been used to white with an orange line down the middle as the others where a faded hunter green. the boots are very uncomfortable to wear. i had ordered the same pair from timberland 4 months prior and went back to them because of this. i used them for about 2 weeks thinking they needed to be broken in a little and still just as uncomfortable. i recommend trying them at the store and not ordering them online. don't know if i could return these now.
