Rated these boots 3 stars due to the quality issues of the boots. Upon unboxing the boots, I’ve noticed immediately that one side of the boot (toe box) had a indentation. The other side, a scratch/scuff on the medial side of the boot. I have been wearing timberlands since my high school days, and there is no other footwear I would rather have on my feet than the Wheat or Black boots. Being in my mid 30’s today, it seems like the craftsmanship of these 6 inch beauties, wasn’t what it used to be. Anyways…scuffs, scratch, or any imperfections that it may be out of the factory, (I got rhymes, by the way) my love for timbs won’t change but at least let me be the one to put those scars and character on my beloved timbs first and only.

my son ask for a fresh new pair every Christmas..These shoes last longer than that and wear very well! they do run at least 1/2 size bigger . They do keep his feet warm in the winter and keep feet dry . he uses his oldest pair for yard work ! the pair from last year still looks good to me! the price is expensive but they are worth it!

Bloomingdale's was the only legit seller of black timberland premium boots in size 9. Sold out every else or people price gauging. I was still nervous about ordering online because timberland boots are well known for not fitting the same as regular shoes/sneakers. MY SPECIFIC NOTE: I went to a Macy's to try on Timbs. I was able to try a size 8.5, which was way too small, and a size 9.5, which was too big. Therefore, I was able to make an educated guess that size 9 would be my size. If I hadn't done that, I may very well have ordered the wrong size. Despite being nervous that maybe size 9 wouldn't fit well, I cant stress enough that it's a PERFECT fit, and very comfortable! Thanks for the opportunity for looking at my review. I brought these boots for a homeless man who truly needed them. They are Definitely great quality of boot that I would advise anyone who likes timberlands to purchase from Bloomingdale's. Now I said Bloomingdales because I've researched other stores and the quality of the merchandise was not Upstanders so thank you Bloomingdales again
I bought these boots online about 3 months ago (not from Moosjaw), and have been wearing them quite frequently ever since I got them. I really like them. They are warm and I find the soles to be quite grippy. I don’t go sliding around on icy sidewalks nearly as much as I do with my other set of “go-to” boots that I use for just kicking around in during the winter (a retired pair of Keen backpacking boots). I also own a pair of Timberland work boots have served me well for the past 5 years. I mostly use those when I’m out with the chainsaw cutting up deadfall for the campfire.
I bought this boot as casual footwear for going out when it is cold, snowy and icy outside. I hate cold and wet feet. I have two pair of Timberland pro work safety toe boots that I like quite well and thought these would be like them. I was totally wrong. First and foremost, these are not good for traction and stability in snow and extremely dangerous to wear on ice, the outside sole cleats are too hard. I tried to cross a snowy and icy street with them and they have absolutely no grip and I almost fell, kinda like walking with a smooth sole on a dress shoe, slick as snot. I got back home and changed shoes to my old Timberland Pro safety toe work shoe and they walked on ice and snow 100% better, like night as day. I purchased these at HypeDC in two sizes, a 10 and 11. Both fit well. The 10 was perfect, but had a defect biting into my ankle. So i kept the 11, and managed with an insole and am very happy with the style and overall fit. The leather is not hard. It actually moulds really nicely around my foot, and the shoes are comfortable on the get go. They are slightly heavy though, so initially it feels like you're lugging them around, but the feeling goes away after a while. These all blacks look absolutely amazing. Too bad Timerbland Australia don't sell these in half sizes!
Bought a less expensive pair of boots for the cold weather in Newark, after one day, when the sole fell off, I figured I should look into maybe getting a more reliable brand. I went to Macy’s in Jersey City and found these Timberlands in black. I immediately fell in love with them! Most boots are usually a little loose. These fit perfectly, not to snug. I tried them on with a standard pair of socks and was amazed at how comfortable they were. I was also able to wear them with a thick winter sock and they still felt amazing. Wore them immediately, lots of walking and still NO blisters or sore feet. They were a little more than I expected to spend but they are totally worth the price! i highly recommend picking yourself up a pair.
The inside of this booth is made from a material that is hard and slippy and rubs against whatever type of sock you wear making this very loud squeaking noise. It's so loud that people stare as I walk by. Was there literally no testing of the boot before selling it? Ridiculous waste of money do not get it.
I Have purchased this same exact boot for decades. i run through alot of these in my work field. this was the first time i got them from Macy's. immediately the box was completely different than what i have been used to white with an orange line down the middle as the others where a faded hunter green. the boots are very uncomfortable to wear. i had ordered the same pair from timberland 4 months prior and went back to them because of this. i used them for about 2 weeks thinking they needed to be broken in a little and still just as uncomfortable. i recommend trying them at the store and not ordering them online. don't know if i could return these now.
