Everything...just perfect!

Let me start by raving about how impressed I am with the delivery speed! I ordered my shoes on Friday the 18th(the deadline to arrive by Christmas) and the estimated delivery date was Wednesday the 23rd....I was shocked and impressed to find they arrived today, Monday the 21st!!!! With it being Christmas and more people are likely ordering online than usual I was actually prepared for them to run a little late.👏🏻I wish I could give 10 stars for shipping. Now on to TVs boots. Excellent quality

These boots are great quality leather, and well made. Waterproofing was something I didn’t realise these boots had. The yellow colour is more tan and yellow which was a relief. The lower cut sits nicely below my ankle. Size I picked size 6 only because I have other Timberland styles and they run small on me. I do have slight wide feet so this may be why. But usually boot styles like this I am a size 5. I don’t always agree with the cost of branded shoes/boots like this because you don’t always receive value for money but I do think Timberland give you quality and durability. My other Timberland boots have lasted years so for that alone I will pay their prices.

Expected Better from Timberland

I expected better quality from Timberland. These appear to be well constructed, BUT if these are real leather, then I'm fooled. Right out of the box, these just look fake. The boots are very stiff, and not in the way new, high quality leather is stiff. They just look like fake suede. Also, the tongue of the shoe cuts into the front of my leg and is very uncomfortable. I don't see how these boots would break in even if I kept them. Too, the gold-tone parts holding the shoe laces look cheap, not real brass. And the gold-tone trinket on the shoe lace also looks cheap. Going back.

I am disappointed

I have bought several pairs of shoes from Masseys and have had good results...but...this time I was sorely disappointed. One of the boots had scuff marks on it showing it had previously been worn. It was also lacking the inner cardboard form protector which was present BTW in the other boot.

No good in wet or icy weather!!

Bought my daughter her first pair around 5 years ago they were great (original tread pattern). Bought her a second pair in the light tan colour 2 years ago with the new tread pattern and they are in my opinion not fit for purpose. Took them back to Office where we purchased them and they sent them away to be checked. Came back as not having a problem. How they got that I don't know as they are no use in wet or icy weather, so defeats the purpose really. Keep checking each year but the treads remain the same so I won't purchase anymore wonder how many other people have this issue and what sakes you are loosing? Saw on the men's website a comment much the same about issues in icy conditions. What a shame you don't listen to customers.

Pretty rather than comfortable

I had these boots for just 2 weeks, but only wore them a couple of times because they started to hurt my bunion area so bad that I could barely walk with them, and my foot hurt a few days after. I do have wide feet especially the right one, the left one was still tight but didn't hurt as bad. I got a size 4 which was the right length, and at the first trying they seemed almost fine, I tried 4.5 and 5 too and they were just too loose, leaving my heel to move around, not staying fixed on my feet at all. I hoped they will break in after some wearing but realized the pain was caused by the stitching which was pressing exactly on my bone, and that was not going to stretch too much. Also I didn't like that they were not flexible but very stiff instead, the flap was rubbing the ankle, the padded collar was also a bit irritating though after a while I got used to it, and the laces were so short you couldn't tie them up properly.However I liked that they are really waterproof, liquids didn't even stayed on them, (however I think they had a defect or something because one of them was getting damp on the toe box, but the water still didn't get in), the removable insole was quite fine, cushioned but still not great, good quality thick leather, good rubber soles and of course, they look really nice and stylish. But I can't really say these were made for comfort.Finally I decided to return them, these boots were definitely not made for my type of feet. Also got them in sales, I coudn't say they are really worth the full price!

Quality not what it use to be.

I love Nellie timberland boots. I had an older version of the timberland boots that lasted me for years, but were beat up so I purchased a new pair. I'm disappointed that the quality of the Nellie timberland boots I purchase is not the same quality boots. They look bulky and are uncomfortable. The side of one of the boots cut my skin leaving a small mark. So they need to be broken into. I size down half a size. I feel like the run a little big. I love timberland boots. However, I feel like the quality of the product is cheaply made.

Should have listened to the bad reviews

They are very uncomfortable. I should have listened to the bad reviews. Tongue is EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Very stiff and cuts into ankle. Laces are so short. Not worth the money. I do not recommend. I will be returning them.

Sturdy shoes

I decided to "invest" in a more expensive pair of winter boots and I'd say overall I'm happy with the purchase. I used a waterproofing spray on these and so far they've handled Scottish weather well. The shoelaces are very short and felt low quality though so ended up buying new ones. My only complaint is that you can already see marks of wear on these like wrinkles on the leather, but I'm not sure if this is normal. Otherwise they feel comfortable, roomy enough for a thicker sock and true to size. I've gotten compliments for these as well.
