A very tight fit compared to my other Timberlands

I was so excited to find these boots on sale. I love the look, durability, and comfort of my other Timberland footwear. I ordered them in the same size my other Timberland boots but they were tight in the toe and in the width which is strange. Sadly, I will be returning them and searching for another pair of Timberland boots. Also, I noticed there was no name for the boot unlike other Timberland products, which made me wonder if these were made specifically for Macy’s. If so, perhaps that’s why the sizing is inconsistent with my other Timberland products.

Live on a mountain need functioning footwear. I wear 7/12 but wanted to wear super thick socks so ordered 7 1/2 wide.I believe I could have ordered a 7 if I was wearing them for street wear with normal socks. So just slightly large due to the round toe box. The shoes are perfectly waterproof. I walked in calf high wet grass and my feet stayed dry.The green is a faded green. The gray shows purple in some light. Both look great with jeans. One con would be the thin laces the $100 plus shoes come with. Just a pet peeve of mine, most people won’t notice.I had issues finding wide and Macy’s had the best selection (along with super fast shipping to this remote location)

I wore this boot for my winter trip to northern europe. It has good grip, I can actually walk on snow and ice safely without the need to buy spikes. The shoe kept me warm as well in -10 degree celsius. Comfortable to use on long walks when wore with wool socks

Great Boots
3 January 2018

I wear a 6.5 m always .average foot. Bought the wheat and love them..from another large online seller. Bought a pair black at Macys and had to return due to mislabeled sizing a whole size too small. My review was not published and they took my Macys money back even though I oRdered this 2nd pair from them to try to get right size. I couldn't find my size elsewhere in black. This 2nd pair is better but still tight , runs very small..and 1/4" shorter in the height of collar and tongue than the same model wheat from other seller. You can see the difference side by side. I wore these around house a little while with light Marino wool sock and they hurt as they are so snug. My feet start to go numb. These black boots are beautiful classic, warm and dry. Either the black ones from Macys fit smaller or the black from any seller in general just run small. These are not the half size big as is typical of the same exact model noted in the hundreds so reviews I read elsewhere , but I only have the wheat to compare to. Looking for a black pair 6.5 m elsewhere and will update this review when I can compare. You will love them .get them if you can find your size. They sell out fast..A great boot for fashion and practical wear, just beware of sizing.

Great purchase
27 August 2023

Waited until they were on sale. Worth the purchase. Purchased in size 9 1/2 based on reviews. I usually wear a 9 1/2 sometimes 10. They fit great with slightly thick socks. Still have room at the top. It’s a slim fit. If you plan to wear thick socks then get the 10. But the boot fit will be big if you wear thin or slightly thin socks in the 10. My opinion.

Love the boots, they seem to be great quality so far. Very comfortable to wear. Process of buying online was excellent! The item was despatched by the next day and arrived quickly. 10/10 would recommend.

Trendy throw back, but just that

If you hike, don’t expect this to be your go-to boot. They run very narrow and stiff so prepare to have them stretched or suffer it out. I’m an 8.5-9 and tried both. The 8.5 fit, but my toes touched the end. They are really tight right where the laces end and the gusseted tongue can be irritating. So I tried the 9 with thick socks… Better, but I had to order twice because one pair had a lot of visible flashing on the faux sole stitching at the tip of the toe.For the money, this boot is lacking in the quality of the insoles (not supportive or cushioned) as well as general build. But, you do get thick, waterproof leather and extra laces. All that said, the color is great (fuchsia) and I’ll keep them for non-hiking purposes. Recommend spraying silicone on them maybe to preserve the color as the pink looks like it will fade or rub off over time. I’d give them a 3.5 if avail.Hope this helps.

[Rewarded Review] Best boot purchase this year
17 January 2019

These are my favorite boots ever. I just finished a 10 day trip in the Dolomite Mountains in Italy followed by tons of walking in Rome. I wore the boots here in Texas to break them in as they are a little stiff at first. They are rigid in the sole and the leather upper. The leather upper softens as one would expect with wear. They did their job in the mountains in the snow. Combined with warm socks, my feet were never cold and never got wet. The rubber sole kept me steady even in slippery situations. In Rome, on the uneven stone streets and the rain my feet also stayed dry and safe. I wear a 7 but ordered a 7.5 because I knew I'd be wearing thicker socks in the mountains. The sizing was perfect. [Rewarded Review] Great Versatile Traditional Bootie
6 December 2018

I love this boot on everyone else, so just had to see if it was a good look for me. I'm very petite, with thin ankles and legs, so I didn't want to look like a duck! I purchased the "wheat" color (almost got the black, but have a lot of lace up black "combat" styles too similar). I purchased my normal size (5.5). I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, it's a bit of a heavy boot and does look a bit masculine. But I was amazed at the comfort. I thought surely it would take some breaking in, but it was comfy right away (I didn't lace all the way to the top). Great with jeans, but also cute with leggings with socks that are a little higher than the boot. Great casual look with flannel tops and sweaters and can even see these with denim shorts in the summer. not for wide feet
21 June 2024

Sized up half a size and that part fit well. However, the width is misleading, they are very narrow. I would not be able to wear socks in this boot. Also, the underneath part of the boots seem as though they were worn? i had to wipe them clean upon receipt of delivery.
