Amazing hiking and everyday boots!
6 January 2023

I have been wearing my Timberland hiking boots for almost 10 years now and they have been great. I have the brown model and I decided it was time to add this color, not replace my old brown ones. This boots are very durable and have held up well through all types of terrain and weather. The waterproof feature has been a lifesaver on many hikes and the tread on the bottom of the boots gives me excellent traction on slippery rocks and muddy trails. The boots could be a little bit more comfortable, but they have a great cushioned insole and supportive ankle collar. Overall, I am extremely happy with my Timberland hiking boots and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a reliable and comfortable pair of hiking boots #SWEEPSTAKES

Comfortale shoe, not very long lasting.

I have had these shoes for two years and they have served me well. They are comfortable and broke in well. The waterproofing held up well for walking in dew-covered grass and in walking through shallow streams below the tongue of the shoe. and were mostly waterproof up to the ankle. I have worn these shoes extremely frequently the past two years from everything including around town, on trail, and off-trail. My few complaints are that the treads wore out sooner than I was hoping, and were mostly gone after about a year. In the second year of wearing them I put close to a thousand miles in them off trail, where they did face a lot of abuse. Great arch support

Just got these boots and love the support they give my arch. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and it's very hard to find shoes that I can walk in. The inner soles are not super soft gel or anything but the arch supports my whole foot which makes my feet feel very comfortable. The shoe does run a half size small. I originally bought an 11 and had to return it for an 11 1/2. My toes were cramped in the size 11. I'm thinking that if these shoes feel this good right out the box they should feel even better once they are broken in more. I will say one thing about the leather. The leather shows scuffs really easy. I mean if you even run your finger nail across it they will show a scuff. But I think it adds character to the shoe and makes it look well worn. Great boot that worked better than it should have
29 December 2022

Size was perfect. So, on a trip to Crazy Mountain Montana, the airlines lost our luggage so I didn't have my snowboots or any warm clothes for that matter with me. Since i wore these to the airport, they stayed with me. With these on my feet, they performed better than they should have had to in 2 feet of sometimes wet snow for our week there. I didn't purchase them for the snow. I just wanted a all around boot that I could wear in all terrain and I got it. I know they are water proof (which they performed perfectly in) but they also kept my feet warm in temps that dropped down to 13 below zero while we were they and when the temps warmed back up and we flew back to Florida, they weren't hot either. A perfect medium in that aspect. Im very happy with the purchase ... MoreSize was perfect. Great boots
4 April 2023

I have not taken these on a trail yet, I am still wearing them around the house so they soften up. Out of the other two brands these are opening up the fastest, the toes are the most comfortable and have the best feel overall. The very last pair that I had (the other big name in hiking boots) was real bulky and I gave up on them and returned for a refund. The pair before that I ended up selling - could not return for refund any longer. These Timberlands are lighter, more compact and fast opening up. Im sure they'll do good on trails too, had another pair years ago that was a champ on trails. highly recommend.

Great price ! Excellent quality !
5 February 2023

I bought these for my husband about a month ago and he absolutely loves them. Found them on Moosejaw for an extremely low price (compared to other websites). There great quality. Extremely warm. Water proof. Great for work, fashion wear, or out-door activities. Easy to keep clean too. Would definitely recommend. Great price, quality, look, durability, comfort and over all boot. Five Stars *****

Great quality and comfort, be careful with size
3 January 2023

Excellent all around boots. Comfortable and waterproof. The only gripe I have is size. I got a size 12 as that is what I usually wear for boots but they are way too large at 12. I tried on an 11.5 and it's too tight. I haven't had this type of gap between the two sizes with any other footwear. I am still wearing the 12 and enjoying it, just tighten up the laces but it definitely is going to be problematic in some settings. I was on the roof and standing sideways was a little dangerous as I felt the shoe flexing due to the amount of open space I had for my foot even with thick socks and tightened laces.

I have been wearing these boots for years.
7 July 2022

I bought my first pair when they were on sale at a brick and mortar retailer. I was not expecting too much, but the price was too good to pass up. Since then I have bought many pair. I have bought as many as 4 pair at a time when I find them on sale. They are among the most comfortable shoes that I can find. I wear them as a daily shoe and for day hikes. I have worn them on hikes in the Smoky Mountains with a rucksack of up to 8 miles without any problems. My more typical hikes are 3 to 5 miles 5 to 7 days a week. They are reasonably water proof, but my feet do get wet in a steady rain. They tend to last me about 6 months of daily wear, and then the soles wear and become uncomfortable. I just plan on buying at least two pair per year.

Not a heavy duty boot; just a light day-hike shoe
12 September 2022

More like a trail running shoe than a hiking boot. Not fully gusseted, as the attachment of the tongue only comes up to the level of the top of the foot; so hardly waterproof. All man made materials inside,, none of which wear as well / last as long as a leather lined boot. The outer leather is good quality, and the fit is as expected for this size. This is basically a city version of a hiking boot and would not hold up under a true backpacking challenge. There is light torsional support, allowing the boot to be light in weight but not supportive enough to support your feet well if you are carrying a large backpack.

Quality has plummeted
18 April 2022

This has more or less been "go to" hiking/work boot since about 12 years old as a boy scout. This means I have been wearing this model for about 10 years. I sometimes wear them casually, but most of their usage includes weekend camping/hiking and working outdoors. I am not someone wearing them 5 days a week for 12 hours per day in rough environments. The quality has slowly decreased, but has plummeted with the latest pair. They are less than a year old and both toes are separating from the soles. The soft tongue materials tends to wear down too. This is extremely disappointing as they are comfortable, good for all seasons, and used to last me two or three years. Time to find another model, if not brand.
