The previous reviewer is quite right to point out the smaller jar size. Previosuly, this was an odd product in a larger jar than other Tiptree preserves - now it's the same size. Nevertheless, this is a delicious and unusual marmalade - nice for a change - and we always have a jar in stock!

I brought this marmalade as I can no longer find the marmalade from Bonne Maman I used to buy. This has a nice flavour and not too much peel. It is slightly sweet but has tanginess undertones. It?s probably not the cheapest but as we know you get what you pay for! This could become a firm favourite.

I’m delighted it’s BACK ! Really missed it. Yes it’s smaller, the same size as Tiptree Strawberry Conserve. But on this occasion I’m so happy it’s back in stock, am willing to pay the price. If price increases again, THEN I’ll think twice aboutbuying it.

This is an excellent, intense marmalade. Tangy is not the correct way to describe this product. The marmalade has a pleasing bitterness from the orange that counters the sweetness of the sugar. If you like this combination, as I do, I think that you will love this. If not, you should look for a different product.
This has been our regular marmalade for years now and it has a delicious deep tangy flavour. And now our local Malmesbury Waitrose has stopped stocking it. Having tried the awful Frank Cooper marmalade they decided to retain, it rather underlined how good this is. Good taste and simple ingredients
This is one of the very few marmalades I've tried which doesn't have a bitter after taste. It's sweet and orangey and has a pleasant hint of tangerine. My only complaint is that it has a very firm set and doesn't spread easily, especially if stored in the fridge. Could also do with a few more shreds of rind, as I like quite a lot. Bit expensive for a small jar.
Tiptree coarse cut tawny orange is the finest marmalade in the world bar none. Just unscrew the lid and savour the bitter sweet aroma arising - it is like appreciating a fine vintage wine! The taste follows the smell and is quite wonderful and the texture is just sufficiently juicy to allow easy spreading. If you have never tried this marmalade before, do give it a go. You are in for a real treat!
Thank you Waitrose for stocking this fantastic product. Thick tasty and pure marmalade. Just two ingredients. Seville Oranges and sugar. Nothing else. A bit pricey but a little goes a long way.
There was a time when I would enjoy this on toast while reading the Sunday papers, oh for the return of those days! Now, my doctor insists I stay off sugar and for certain high sugar foods like this so all I can do is admire the jar and remember better times.
I think this was a bad batch which is why the price is marked down. It has a very bitter orange peel taste, so strong I'll have to mix it with the "national brand" to be able to tolerate it. I just can't afford to throw it out and have no way to return it with no car, and no printer for a shipping label. If you decide to buy it, expect to do the same with it as I am, or throw it out.
