Happy with Sand Blaster!

Needed a home use sand blaster to knock some rust off of my pickup truck. After shopping around for a month or so and reading many reviews, I knew it was going to be a challenge buying a small blaster. This blaster has a low CFM requirement compared to others so I gave it a shot. I also bought the glass bead media ( BLACK BULL Model SBGLAS) from Home Depot and the combination worked perfectly for me. Had the rust down to bare metal in no time flat!

I bought this unit to add some texture to a bunch of wood we are using at a cabin we are building. It is very lightweight, arrived very quickly, and was well packaged. Unfortunately, it really didn't do much to add any texture to the wood we were working on. You could see that it did take the surface of the wood away, but it really only seemed to change the color of the wood, not the texture. It might be really good for removing surface rust or paint, but that is not what I bought it for. The return was super easy at the store though, so no complaints here.

I don’t believe the item is worth the money. It is essentially a plastic bucket with a feed hose. It is just as easy and cheaper to buy the blast nozzle and place a hose directly into the bucket that the media (sand, glass beads, etc.) comes in.

Ideal for my project. Had tried various methods of removing paint from garage walls with no success. The Titan sandblaster did the trick. It is so light weight and easy to use. Not sure what it would be like for large jobs but for the DIY itt is perfect.

Purchased this sand blaster to remove old paint from a few body panels on my car project as it had the best reviews. I was extremely disappointed with the results and would say that this blaster throws the media at best and is very messy. I tried using different media to see if there were any changes but ended up with similar results. I had to end up using a sand blasting service instead

25 September 2016

Any sandbluster requires industrial grade air compressor, and it should be specified in the description. These items should not be sold at HD, but at the professional stores. You will not be able to use it at home with a regular air compressor.

The product split on the seem next to where hose comes out of bucket on first use. Would be better if the product was made better on the seams so they don't split.other then that product works as intended. However, no need to purchase a product that will split on use.

The sand blaster (actually just a repository for blast media and a hose-and-nozzle) performed as expected. Buyers ought to know this is not a sand-blasting cabinet, in which the medium is recovered and re-used. The hose is a generous length and the nozzle works well and seems durable. Iro

When I ordered the sandblaster, it was recommended that I purchase a box of pecan shell grit to use with. I did so and both were delivered in a timely fashion. However, when I read the instructions for use, it was clearly stated that nut shells were NOT the recommended grit for this unit.
