Titleist TSR2 Driver Right Hand

The Titleist TSR2 Driver is the perfect combination of speed and stability for maximum distance from both on- and off-centre contact, now in a player-preferred shape. For players who make contact across the entire surface of the face, it combines Titleist's most significant CG shift with a new Multi-Plateau VFT face to boost speed across the whole face. All within a cleaner, refined shape that inspires total player confidence. Greater speed means greater distance, and the new shape of TSR2 has been refined to make it as fast as possible through the air. The redesigned toe shape also improves the face angle for a better look at address. The new multi-plateau VFT construction approach builds the face inward, layer by layer, to create nearly constant CT across the entire hitting surface. In other words, it produces amazing forgiveness and ball speed from every strike, whether pure or mis-hit. CG placement plays a key role in both speed and forgiveness. For TSR2, the CG has been shifted both lower and more forward to increase ball speed while improving launch and spin. A driver that fits better performs better. The SureFit system gives a fitter the flexibility to perfectly match the performance of TSR2 to the needs of each individual player, helping you make purer and more consistent contact. The featured shafts for TSR represent a complete range of high-performance options from Tour-trusted manufacturers. Every player and swing profile can be fit to an ideal match. Manufactured by Graphite Design, the premium shafts utilize exclusive TORAYCA carbon fibres and other advanced materials to produce elite performance dynamics. Players can choose between three distinct launch and spin profiles to optimise their ball flight.

Best driver EVER!!

I love my new TitleistTSR2 driver. After stepping away from Titleist drivers for Taylor Made 5-6 years ago (Sim models, Stealth, etc.), I have been brought back to Titleist in convincing fashion. I had my swing analyzed and was fitted at PGA Superstore, and the monitors showed a 15-29 yard increase. Of course, I was skeptical, but after taking it out on the course, I was carrying it farther and my mishits ran out as far as my bigger hits with the Stealth. It is not overly spiny, and it seems to tumble instead of spinning and stopping quickly. I am not a great driver of the ball, but this club has given me enormous confidence and makes me want to hit driver on every par 4 and 5! There's literally no need to look for another driver. I've been playing Titleist drivers since the 90's and I'm hitting the ball longer with this club than anything I've ever touched. I switched a few years ago to Callaway Epic Flash and Speed drivers due to the hype (they aren't bad clubs, they just aren't great.... really hot face right in the center), but I eventually went back to the TSi 3 and then the TSi 2 due to it matching my ball flight better. Watching the PGA players using the TSr the past few months I could not believe the distance they were getting. I was finally able to get my hands on the TSr 2 and did some tests with it... here are my findings:1> You need to go 1 degree down from whatever you currently play. TSi 9 degree and TSr 8 degree have the same launch angle. The TSi launches higher with less spin (that's where you see the distance)2> Carry on the two clubs is nearly identical with identical swing speeds. At 106 mph, ball speed and carry with both clubs is identical on the launch monitor..... it's the spin that really reduces.3> Roll out after landing is upwards of 20 yards difference depending on course conditions (my home course is currently a little long on the fairway grass, so this may be a bigger difference when it dries out).4> Off-Center hits are where there is a dramatic improvement. The TSi 2 is a GREAT club, but mishits will let you know they were mishits... the TSr 2 moves into that nearly-unmissable category. (I purposely hit a ball off the toe at 105 mph and only had 2 mph reduction in ball speed (151 vs 149) and it was still piped. My main takeaway is that the club is so forgiving and launches so consistently, it gives you the confidence that you can really go at it and still be on the planet. The only thing this has really messed up for me is I'm now hitting my approach shots from places I've never been

Gained distance and consistency with TSR2

Checked out a few drivers and shafts at PGA Superstore to replace my old TM Burner with regular shaft. Landed on TSR2 9 degrees with a hzrdous red lightweight stiff shaft. Allowed me to swing aggressively without having to worry about hooking the ball. Ball flight is straight/slight fade which takes the left side of the course out of play for the most part. Carry distance up about 10-15 yards. Now I need to work on my poor iron play.

Head-shakingly amazed and impressed
16 October 2023

This is a first for me as I have never left a written review on anything, ever. Given how amazed I have been with my Titleist TSR 2 I felt I owed it to the golf gods to do so. I have been golfing for 27 years and have historically played Taylor Made drivers for the majority of that time. I have always been able to drive the ball well and my "miss-hit" has always been the dreaded slice. This season I have really dug into my game and specifically all of the data that can be collected nowadays in fitting simulators. I am not a brand snob I am just interested in results. I have always been able to drive the ball well and my "miss-hit" has always been the dreaded slice. This season I have really dug into my game and specifically all of the data that can be collected nowadays in fitting simulators. I am not a brand snob I am just interested in results. With that in mind I decided to get a new driver this season. I researched every offering on the market and did a deep dive on almost all of them. To my great delight and surprise I was fitted into a Titelist TSR 2 driver in 10* with a HZRDUS black gen 4 shaft in 60 gram stiff (I also tried many other shaft configurations and this was best for me). I now have ten rounds on this club and a few trips to the range as well. The results have been stellar to say the least. This club sounds and feels wonderful. The forgiveness of this club is by far the best I have ever experienced but the most important part to me is the consistency. I seem to be able to do whatever I want with this driver and the results are endlessly repeatable. What I discovered during my fitting was that the spin rate for what I had been using was really hurting me and along with some swing correction this club brought me into the ideal zone for spin (between 2190-2235) on average. One of the jaw dropping benefits to this club (for me) has been the simple fact that even on a mis-hit I am now at worst on the right edge of the fairway instead of the middle of the fairway of the wrong hole. The main competitors I had seriously considered before finding this gem were the Ping G430 max & lst, Taylor Made Stealth 2 & 2 plus & Sim 2 Max, Callaway Paradym & triple diamond, Mizuno Stg-220 & Stx & Stz. Nothing even came within sniffing distance of the Titelist.... Nothing! I could not be more impressed and pleased with this driver. In fact I loved it so much that I recently added the TSR 2 3 wood to my bag and have had the same astounding results. Thank you to Matt, Matt and Damon at your Natick, Ma store for all the assistance in helping me find what was right for my game and thank you Titleist for creating products like these.

Looks NEW and fast delivery!
13 March 2024

Wow! So many good things to say. Condition said “excellent”, and they are right because it looks NEW. The fast FREE Ship 2 home shipping had my club in my hands the next day! And a Bonus: It came with the factory head cover! Listing said no head cover, so I was very pleasantly surprised. The recent Sale also meant that I got a great deal on a driver with a high end upgraded shaft for much less than new. Buy with confidence in their used club program. As for the club, amazing… best ball speeds of any I tested, still very forgiving, and very accurate with the shaft fit for me.

I chose to get fitted for a new driver and I'm glad I took the time and spent a little extra money to get a driver suited to my swing. The TSR2 has been an awesome addition to the bag and I'd recommend the club to anyone looking to upgrade. Also, I highly recommend going to get fit for the club to eliminate any buyer's remorse. I'll definitely be going back when I decide to upgrade the irons!

Still the best for drivers
5 October 2022

The TSR2 is great! It's forgiving, fast, and makes the game easier. However, I came from a TSi2 and the sound and flight are so much different. I use my same shaft and surfefit settings and couldn't believe the difference. The flight of the TSR2 is much lower, but a little farther. I gained roughly 10 yards with the odd pure shot that was more. The TSi2 had a much higher flight that allowed for more of a shop shape. Again, both heads were spec'd the same. Lastly, the sound. I will say I prefer the TSi2 sound. It was loud. It sounded like you crushed the ball with a big pop. The TSR2 offers more of a dead sound off the face. Not ping sounding(you know what I mean) but nothing like the TSi2 sound. I hit numerous balls outside on the range over 2 days and came to this ... MoreThe TSR2 is great! Cons - lower flight, the sound is much duller, doesn't seem as workable.

Bought brand new. Unfortunately the season has ended, but can’t wait for spring! Upgrade from my TS2 that I purchased used from Golf Avenue! You get to see pictures of the actual club you are going to purchase. It has been a fantastic club and performed so well. Shipping only took a few days. I was skeptical of buying used online, but I would recommend purchasing used or new from Golf Avenue.

Tried various drivers and kept going back
2 August 2024

I am recently returned to golf after a several year layoff from and accident. I tried several different drivers but I kept going back to the TSR2. I got a bit more distance by an average of maybe 6 yards but no more wild dispersion of shots. I'm in play almost every shot now. Saved me maybe 10 to 12 or more shots a round and I am not losing balls like before. It simply works for me.

With a Regular Shaft, Great driver for a high handicapper
4 June 2024

I'm just getting into the game of golf. By that I mean, I'm actually playing regularly, tracking strokes accurately, and working to improve my swing. Prior to that it was maybe one round a year to socialize. Last fall i bought a new driver with adjustable weight and stiff shaft, low spin...found out quickly it was the wrong driver for me. Sold that one and got this one in a 10 deg, regular shaft configuration. I absolutely love it. Light, easy to swing giving me more consistent contact. I still make the odd stupid swing but for the most part, my drives are in play. In 18 holes, this driver has easily saved me 5 strokes. Definitely recommended for new players.
