Giving it a 3 star due to not the same as the picture. The bedhead is a lot lower, you can’t see it once pillows are on bed. In their picture the mattress must be very small cause with my mattress I can’t see the back of my headboard.Also hunter express are the worse company to ship with. Held the bed for a week at the depot I ended up going to pick it up as they said it wasn’t getting delivered until the following week and was delayed yet again.

Was easy enough to put together, took two of us a couple of hours. Seems high enough quality for the price and gas lift works well. Plenty of space for storage. Storage section isn’t enclosed so your items will sit on the floor, best to use tubs. There are gaps under sides of the bed which will mean dust can get in but would be easy enough to vacuum if you lift the mattress up via gas lift to access.

Worst experience ive ever had when purchasing a product. I purchased this as a christmas present for my 14year old daughter. When we opened it the headboard had a hole in it. So I followed the instructions for faulty items, I took photos and sent an email to the seller showing the damage. The seller said they would send me a replacement headboard. Excellent, all good you would assume....... The headboard never arrived!!! There was a number of parts missing and multiples or other parts - so effectively the bed could not be put together as there was not a complete set of parts. I took photos sent them to the seller and they responded by questioning me about why I had not let them know about the missing parts when I advised them about the damaged bed head. I responded and advised that the first step was to attach the brackets to the bedframe - which i could not do due to it being damaged so naturally i would not know which parts were missing if I had not gotten past step 1. They replaced the missing part, but never sent the replacement bedhead.As I continued to build the rest of the bed I discovered that there was also a missing slat - this is part of the final steps to set up. I again took photos and sent them to the seller. They advised that they don't have slats! um what??? By this time I was furious I escalated this matter to My Deal complaints where they said they would assist me. I wanted 1 replacement head board and 1 base slat. My Deal advised that the seller told them that they were unable to provide these items (despite twice promising in writing that they would send a replacement headboard) and that they would pick up the item - the catch was I had to now dismantle the bedframe I had just spent months building (yes this debacle spanned months) and repack it back in the box it arrived in for them to pick it up!!!! I repeatedly gave the seller and my deal the opportunity to rectify this by providing the replacement parts but they never came - their response was they don't have them. Seemed a bit odd to me considering they were still selling this bed on my deal. I have never had an experience like this when dealing with a seller. To this day, almost 1 year later, they have not provided the replacement bedhead nor the slat. I effectively don't have the product that I paid for. I paid for an entire, undamaged bed as advertised and I never received that. If my daughter didn't love the bed so much I would have sent it back and gone elsewhere. To this day i have never, and will never again, purchase anything from this seller or my deal. My deal customer service said they could do nothing except talk to the seller and abide by what the seller decides, they were unable to resolve this. So let this be a warning and think seriously before you buy this item- it just wasn't worth it!!!!

What a disappointment this bed is. Looks so different from what’s advertised. The look of the bed is almost a cheap plastic look. Frame is not sturdy. The headboard is laughable. It is half the size of what you’d expect. Making this king bed look even more ridiculous and cheap looking.Definitely not what I expected.

Very dissatisfied with the quality and the misleading advert .It never mentioned that it requires a low mattress.With my mattress you can barely see the headboard but in the picture that’s like a huge feature that it’s high and stands out .The storage is silly because you are essentially putting things directly on the floor so I won’t be using that due to dust .Quality in picture looks way superior to what you actually get and I think that I payed way too much .I was so excited I’d literally already disposed of my other bed so keeping it was the only option.

Happy with this purchase!

I was iffy about this purchase but the free postage got me comparing it. It's decent quality for the price, takes patience to put together but isn't rocket science. The slats aren't the best quality and I possibly do see us needing to replace them later on as just trying to put the end parts to click into the frame they frayed and split. Bed is quite sturdy and just like the picture, I do how ever wish they bed head allowed a little more room for a thicker mattress! Over all very happy with this purchase!! Came very quick in apostate as well!

Overall cheap n does what it says

Exactly like picture but the colour is darker in reality and depending on the thickness of your mattress the head board will appear very short. so does kinda look funny. And the last part is there is underneath bed base so for the storage part. U just be storing it on your floor when you lift the gas lift of your bed up. So it's kinda useless. But for the price I paid with delivery $307 for the double however it did take nearly 4weeks. I can't complain. Always check dimensions of the bed height for that's your head board n most of them run a little low even if they appear higher in the pictures

Looks great However it's quite intimidating to put together. The quality of the bolts and nuts is not the best Soft and easily stripped typical Chinese Made very low quality. Panels are flimsy The plastic accessories to hold plywood boards are really bad they easily come out. Overall it comes together firmly and very comfortable The price is very attractive Good value Design is 10 out of 10 Amazing delivery time

Would recommend this bed frame!

A really grand looking bed frame! Super happy with how it looks and the gas lift is super easy to use. The bed wasn’t so hard to put together, it was a tiny bit confusing but my partner and I got it together in about 2 hours. Definitely put the mattress on top before trying to push the gas lift bed frame down!!!! We weren’t aware it couldn’t go down without the mattress on top, and had to google else where to figure out why my bed wouldn’t work or if we had built it wrong. Gas lift is a breeze though, such a good idea if you have a small room like myself and need to put things somewhere. Nothing moves when you lift the mattress aswell, my bed stays all intact.Steady frame, easy gas lift, moderate to build. Definitely recommend the bed. You get what you pay for

It is one of the cheapest beds that you can find online with gas lift functionality. Although, it is functional, there is no storage base, items will essentially be sitting on the floor. The PU leather material looks cheap and the photos can be misleading for some. The headboard is really thin and shaky and looks flimsy. The assembly is slightly more complex than a regular bed but not too complicated. We bought is for the master bedroom but given how it looks, will have to change to something better. Could be good for some in the spare bedroom, but can be a cause for embarrassment for others. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
