My parents had these which they'd got about 18 years ago. Theirs are thick black material. These are a lot thinner, but I figure the technology in making the material has caused this advancement. Just had a trial with them, no problems at all. Clean, easy to use, weren't even very hot after taking out of the toaster! Very happy I found them :)

I’ve been using toastabags for a lot of years now. The previous ones I had were a cream colour and despite careful washing, became discoloured over time. They work well once you sort out your toaster settings so your sandwich doesn’t burn. Much less fuss and cleaning than using a sandwich press.

Bought these for a work colleague who is a coeliac. Fantastic way for her to safely use the toaster or sandwich toaster at work without being cross comtaminated by others lunches. Love it, so easy to use. With 2 in a packet can use one for work and the other for home or travel.

I found these good ~ but they are a bit fragile and i ripped one whilst putting the sandwich into the bag. I think sandwich bread is best as toast bread is too thick. They do a good job and make a nice quick sandwich - and easy to clean with just a quick wash. Great for traveling when you fancy a toastie in a hotel/motel.
Have used these ToastaBags to make toast for years on my DIESEL cooktop in my campervan Cook on low heat, watch constantly and turn frequently. Lasts for many uses, too. No smoke alarm screeching either. (Not suitable for gas though!!)
Try putting 2 pieces of bread with filling into the toaster for starters, that is an achievement all on its own. My opinion an absolute waste of time & money.
I love these bags, freshly toasted cheese sandwiches without the mess of cleaning the grill. Dont stop with cheese, try bacon, hash browns, steak, anything that needs to be cooked or heated. Just remember to keep the bag the correct way up. Stops all those horrible crumbs from spilling out of the toaster too. Even better, they can be placed in the dishwasher over the plate prongs, for cleaning and reuse.
They do a really good job of toasting but with the size of today’s loaves they are a smidgin too small to put in an entire sandwich, I had to cut the sandwich in half and use two bags.
Could be made 1/4 inch wider to allow for some wider shaped loafs. Needed to cut sides of the bread. However, I love them and Dunelm thank you for being the only place in town I could find them. Ham & Cheese Toasties all day long.
I bought a pack of these last week, as I had used toast bags before, with excellent results. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. The bags struggle to hold a sandwich made with a standard, medium sliced loaf and 2 slices of cheese (the bag is far too small). When toasting, even with my toaster at its lowest setting, the bread burnt badly and the cheese was not even melted (bread does not burn in my toaster when I am not using the bags). Had two attempts at a toasted cheese sandwich, but ended up giving them to my dogs. I think I'll stick to cheese on toast made under the grill in future.
