For the job is obviously designed for its perfect. Heats up quickly. You do need to ignite the flame but that's not a problem. ( Everyone has a lighter ). Would be good if it came with a little box to keep solder and the solder tip inside.

Great gas operated soldering iron and burner.Compact and easy to use. It helped with my rewiring of a motorcycle.

It is a versatile gas soldering iron ideal for doing small jobs in difficult spaces where power leads may be a problem.Check the filler valve when filled for gas escaping by holding it close to your ear.

I bought this item over the weekend for some soldering for some clearance lights. Horrible soldering iron but not to bad of a blow torch for the heat shrink.
Great value and quality for your money. Manual start due to costing, however, only a minor inconvenience, not a deal breaker. Easy to use and refill, comes in in handy and very useful.
I bought this knowing that it was the cheaper version but it works just as well. Heats instantly and cools quickly using the attached wire stand.
After breaking my old iron I was in urgent need of another one. Purchased this one and its been great. Heats up quick and stays hot. Its adjustable heating works well too. The only thing missing is the lack of self ignition.
