It reminds me of a gentleman at a cigar lounge or jazz club with a cigar in hand so you get smoke, but wearing a expensive leather jacket from YSL drinking an old fashioned with orange peel on the rim of the glass. This will definitely be a compliment getter for sure and one I can see being a good gift for a husband or serious boyfriend. The price is $230 so it's not cheap but in line with other fragrances of this concentration and quality. I give it a 8.5 out of 10. A solid addition to the house and possibly a signature scent for some. I received this complimentary from @Influenster but I'd definitely purchase this.

It starts with sweet vanilla and fresh tobacco leaves. It is quite spicy in a sweet sexy way. After a while the tobacco gets more dominant and it is really sensual- The dry down is to die for. It smells like sweet, cosy, nice vanila blended with a pinch of autumn dry leaves. I've grown up surrounded by the scent of tobacco, however I am never repulsed by it. The smokiness of the scent seems to be a comforting medium for me. When combined with the rich vanilla in this fragrance, the tobacco really takes on that soothing feel. It feels rather 'homey'. The scent is very strong at first, very rich and tobacco-y. If you've ever smelt a packet of cigarettes you'll find that they have a slight raisin type smell. This certain smell has been emulated in Tobacco Vanille's opening. The vanilla is sweet, yet not too sweet. This is certainly something that would smell amazing on both men and women, a true unisex fragrance. For me, this is the ultimate fall fragrance (maybe it's the similarity between the sweet smell of TV's tobacco and the sweet smell of hay in the sunshine)

I’d rank that 5 stars and this 4 as a result, but if you prefer a sweeter scent you may want this version. Also if the note break down of Indian spices with a bit of a creamy background doesn’t sound appeals this may not be for you regardless of quality and I always recommend trying before you buy at this price point. This cologne is filled with rich blend of spicy and citrusy fragrance which comes out as a little less masculine at first but once the smell settles in, it gives away sandalwood and vanilla ember aroma for a creamy, woody finish. This balances out the overall fragrance for a long lasting/not over-powering smell of spice, wood, and sweet all into one. Not my ultimate favorite collection of Tom Ford, but I think it is worth the purchase. The pacaging is beautiful and sleek. Love the black and gold. I used this as well as my husband and grandson. When first sprayed I could smell a light powder scent as well as a spicy Woody scent. It smelled different on all three of us but the guys won! It smelled awesome on them. This is an awesome fall fragrance! I would recommend this fragrance by Tom Ford for sure! I was quite surprised to find out I would be receiving a Tom Ford box. Upon opening it to find the Tobacco Vanille eau de parfum I found the spray in a box and when I pulled it out, it was a sleek cylinder with gold wrapped around the top where it opened. I also noted the top has a magnetic part so the lid comes off easy and easily makes sure it’s back closed after spraying. Before I sprayed it the first time, I let it set out on my nightstand so I could just smell what would funnel out. At first I thought it wasn’t a scent I’d like. Finally I opened the top and sprayed a couple of sprays. WOW! I was over the moon at the fragrance flowing through my room. I am a woman who likes unisex scents (e.g. Jazz Club, By the Fireplace, Colonia, BR540) and gourmands (e.g.Lilac Love, Lira, Love & Crime, Lolita Lempicka). This scent is marketed as unisex with the obvious main notes being tobacco and vanilla. On me it is *very* spice forward. I smell clove, allspice, and nutmeg. It stays spice forward for a long time but does eventually mellow out to a soft tobacco. I get very little vanilla. It is so heavily spice forward for me that I have a hard time thinking of anything other than Christmas. I think it also makes it more masculine than unisex. I tried two experiments and layered it with MM By the Fireplace and then with CSP Vanille Extreme. However, I also need to note that the packaging is stunning. I received the 10ml and the metal atomizer with magnetic cap is solid and luxurious. This is my first TF scent and while this night not be my exact cup of tea, the quality of the scent and packaging will have me trying more.
