Pretty useless kit... The comb and brush are ok but can be bought for a couple of quid, same as the scissors. The thermometer is pretty useless as it takes like 60 seconds to get a reading and needs to be under the baby's tongue which is impossible to do... The nasal aspirator is way too big for babies under 1, as is the toothbrush, and the clippers are blunt and badly angled. Don't waste your money! I bought in the sale so got it for about £10 and still feel like I was ripped off!

Worth it if your not bothered about the thermometer. Was gifted at baby shower, used on 5 month old baby and showed 35.4 temp. had been reading low temps no matter how well baby was. Came online to tommee tippee and read that the thermometer is oral not under arm. Takes nearly 90 seconds to have a reading with the beep. Crazy to wait for that with such a small child. Thermometers should always be under arm in children 1 year and younger. Would say this was for toddlers and older. NOT babies.

The soft-bristle hair brush is a perfect first brush to use on sensitive little heads and hair, it's so soft to the touch but can still do a decent job of neatening little locks! As my child has gotten older, the comb has proven really useful as a next step up. The handle is sturdy and the teeth on the comb are spread just enough that it doesn't put too much pressure on the head when combing through the hair. Probably not so useful for any big knots but we've never encountered that problem! The toothbrush was a really lovely first product as well. We never really used the emery boards included, but there are 2 in each kit which would be helpful for anyone wishing to use them instead of, or in addition to, other nail care products. The clippers themselves have been great for us. They can be quite sharp but taking care when trimming nails has mitigated any issues with this, and we still use these clippers 3 years on! The nasal aspirator has helped us in countless times of sniffles and congestion. The suction is just right to help relieve stuffy noses and we've found it easy to clean by sunctioning up saline water into the bulb and then holding it upright to let any residual water drip out once emptied. The thermometer is probably what has made my review a 4 star and not a 5. We personally haven't had any issues with inaccurate readings (we've always doubled checked with another temperature gauge anyway) but it takes quite a long time to provide a temperature reading which isn't ideal with wriggling babies and toddlers so this is something to consider. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone wanting a basic healthcare kit to keep handy. When on sale, the price point is really quite affordable but the full price is possibly a little too high considering the negatives with the thermometer. If, however, you feel like you would get a decent amount of use out of the other products, it would definitely be worth giving it a go!

All the essentials

A great little kit with all the essentials. The thermometer seems a little poor quality but everything else is fine. The nail scissors are great; they are just the right size and curvature for little fingernails!

Fantastic set

I bought this when my daughter was a baby (she's now 5), it has everything you need starting out. The brush was great for her hair up until she was 2. I kept the set (obviously threw out the toothbrush when it was done) but the set is great for knowing you having everything when travelling or just keeping everything together. The thermometer is easy to use and all items (excluding the toothbrush but other childrens toothbrushes fit the space when you need to replace) are still well used and in extremely good condition as the full set is well made. The comb is still great for getting tangles out and the brush I still use for smoothing my daughter's hair. Best £10 I've spent.

It's not worth it

I bought this before my baby's birth thinking it is everything I need to take care of my newborn.But after birth I discovered the the thermometer was inaccuarate - it would show a normal temlerature reading of 37C even though my 8 week baby had a fever for 4 days. I still went to the GP and discovered indeed she had a fever of 38C and was then sent into A&E!The nail clipper was also blunt it would take me twice as long to cut her nails. LOVE IT! SO HANDY!

We got gifted this at our babyshower in November 2019 our baby was born in January 2020, we put it in our nappy bag which obviously gets taken everywhere that our son goes whether he is with us or his grandparents and it has come in handy on so many countless occasions, he got sick as a small bubba with the flu and having a nasal aspirator in the pack was a wonderful help! Everything in this health kit has come in handy multiple times and honestly is such a great help for parents, it's even been used by my mum friends who forgot to pack something in their nappy packs, they ended up getting one for themselves and keeping it in their bag too! Love this product, couldn't reccomend it enough! :) Thank you tommeetippee!

Nice case for travel

Great little starter pack, I had this for my little one and bought as a gift for my pregnant friends too however, not much use of the balloon nose phlegm removal or the toothbrush and for a newborn it was easier to get a separate forehead thermometer. But nice little case to keep things altogether

Very useful piece of kit for a new baby and new mum.However, poorly packaged for delivery - the bag was ripped and the box squashed resulting in a broken thermometer cover. I didn’t realise and had given it as a present at a baby shower.
