Loved that these did the job of keeping out light but talk about a dilemma when have a western facing room and the material absorbed all the heat (touched the material and compared with the curtains) and had to battle with 30-40degree room, no surprises my girl hated it, so I hated this blind. As soon as we removed them and stuck them over the top of the curtain, that reduced the heat significantly. So they really need to figure out a better reflective surface.

Good enough as a blackout but I find the suction cups annoying to remove. Would prefer a temp suction hook situation. We have those old villa windows it’s not ideal for that as the ridges make it hard to block out the edge light. But better than nothing for sure.

We have two of these blackout blinds now we have two kids. Great for when we go away on holiday or to the Grandparents and there arnt blackout curtains or the lights just streaming in. Takes less than a minute to put up as they just suction to the window. Especially handy in summer when it’s light so early and still light in the evenings. Makes the rooms so much darker so everyone gets more sleep

I recently purchased the Tommee Tippee Sleeptight Portable blind as I work shift work as a nurse and it was recommended to me by other nurses I work with. The blind is so straightforward to use. It’s easy and light in weight to store away and the fabric pretty much blocks out every ounce of sunlight. The fit is perfect as it has small bits of Velcro where I can re adjust the blind to fit. Would continue to recommend
Quite disappointed with this product. It says it’s easy to put up but I found it quite tricky to get the suction cups to stick, and when I finally do they unstick within the hour. Very annoying when I’ve spent 30 minutes trying to get the blinds positioned and stuck on! A friend suggested wetting the bit of glass the cups would go on with a bit of water and that helped the suction stay on for longer, but in the morning it was a minute to remove with another half an hour of putting them on in the evening. Definitely wasn’t worth the price.
My first use was last night for my 2-year-olds room, who was wakening at 5 am every morning, until this morning he woke at 5 but happily went back to sleep until 6.10It does work once fitted properly; I was able to pop it up in a few minutes no hassle.Very happy with this product, would recommend.
Blocks out every inch of light.We have found this super helpful when travelling for our boys room to block out the sun during the day for his naps or when the curtains in accomodation are poor. We have found it great for daylight savings for a 7pm bedtime. Fits window well & the design is handy to make it shorter or longer with the perfect fit due to the Velcro adjusters. Comes with a handy bag too
These blinds are great. They do completely black out what they can cover. Unfortunately, my windows have a wooden frame that juts out and where the suction attachments are, they stop the edge of the blinds from being able to block out the edge of the windows so a fair bit of light still comes through. I can see where these would work with a window that has no window sill or flat framing, though.
After using a makeshift alternative for a number of months, I finally gave in and purchased this blackout blind. Darkens the room incredibly well and I love that I can still open the window while leaving it attached. The only reason for a 4 star and not a 5 is that the fabric doesn't quite come right to the edge of the frame which let's a little bit of light in around the edges but once the curtains are closed that small amount of light isn't an issue
