My girls love the belle tonie! They are 7 and 5. D haven’t even noticed that the voices are different! They love the songs and the story. Kids really don’t care that the voices are different, it’s the parents that make a big deal about it. Once you figure out that the majority of the songs on all the Tonies are sung by other people, you get over it pretty quick It’s a cute addition to the quietness of the day.

First of all, we have about 10 Tonies and I have yet to find one that has the ACTUAL songs from the Disney movies. For the most part the stories are legit, but the songs are not. Cinderella and Rapunzel are pretty bad, but this one in particular is the worst. The person they hired to sing for Belle must be a 70 year old grandma. My 3 year old immediately could tell that it wasn’t Belle. She hates this Tonie and completely Refuses to listen to it. Why aren’t the songs used in the Disney Tonies collection from the ACTUAL Disney movies?? What a joke!

Man, I WISH I'd read that this wasn't the original movie music. But why would I think I wouldn't be getting the original movie music when my Moana and Coco tonies had the original songs. I logically thought that since this was a Disney tonie, and my other Disney tonies had the original soundtrack, this would have it too. But NO. It not even the Emma Watson music. Is some covers I've never heard before with the most bizarre British inflections that just make my ears CRINGE. I'm very disappointed and would not recommend this tonie. They should make it very clear here that this isn't the original music in the description!

These songs are taken from the live action B&tB and not the ‘91 animated film. Also, the singers are not the original live action cast. However, the story follows the ‘91 version. If your Tonie user is a stickler for those distinctions, you may wish to avoid this Tonie.Overall, my little one enjoys it.
My granddaughter loves theseThe one improvement needed is to make it easier to go to the next song.Hitting the box is difficult for an adult. My 2 yr old tries but simply is not strong enough and she gets frustrated. I myself have to hit it several times. Maybe a third black button could be added. She has no problem operating those.
It’s not the original Disney music... even my 3 year old asked why real Belle isn’t singing. The voice actress they hired to record this tonie doesn’t even have a decent singing voice, it’s like listening to someone’s bad karaoke. I wish I could return it but I’ve already opened it…
So obviously the movie itself is quite scary, but they made the story a little too scary for an age range starting at 3 years old. The beasts voice is legitimately horrifying, almost demonic.... but that's just all these early Disney movies, I suppose. My daughter still likes it, I just have to remind her she can fastforward through the scary parts.
This was my favorite Disney story as a little girl so I bought this for my little one. I am disappointed that the voices and the songs are not true to the animated movie but more so the live action songs and music. The animated version was what made it a classic. Not my favorite but my 1 yr old of course doesn’t mind.
I feel that I’m pretty good at handling setup of toys these days & this was such a struggle when trying to use it for the first time at a friend’s house. My daughter was so excited to listen & we were stuck in a loop of setup fails. So not a review of Belle herself, but these different tonies w the box in general. Additionally- Our child is very particular & the songs sound different than the Disney soundtrack. Most of the tonies do.
I bought these a while ago and my son still gets them out and plays them. They are well recorded, with lovely music throughout as well as narration. I just do not comprehend why this was not made into a read along ? My son loves read alongs and these never come with a book. It’s like someone missed a huge opportunity to engage kids with reading. The toy concept and mounting it on the speaker is fab and magical, but this could of been so much more with a little book to follow each story with. I am just confused as to why this did not enter the makers head
