We have been very excited to receive this gift, it is wonderful. From the moment you take it out of the box, you can't stop yearning for it to turn on quickly, it is super easy to use and the instructions are very precise, the figures that come are wonderful and when you place them in the box the magic begins, the songs are super known and All very good, the volume is right and the stories are super entertaining ... my baby loved it, I could see her emotion on her face when she was able to listen to the songs and stories, I will definitely be interested in acquiring more figures to enjoy together with my son of more stories and songs. The songs are so perfect for my little! We dance and sing along non-stop. I also like that the music is all up front rather than song-story-song-story.The story is a little dark, but if your kiddo has already seen the movie, it’s in line with the plot line. My 2-year old likes the songs, but I wasn’t a fan of the “death” talk during the brief story for her age.Quality tonie though and happy with my purchase!

All of the tonies have different singers than the actual Disney songs, which I don't fully understand but the lion king one is a special sort of awful. These voice actors sound nothing like the originals. If you're spending almost $20 on some songs and a story, it's pretty disappointing to have such a low quality

There are many reviews of the issues with this Tonie, but I still bought it since our kiddo is a Lion King fan. The song remakes are really bad, it’s not the Broadway/original track/new movie or anything similar. The volume is about half of what other Tonies are, and the magnet doesn’t work well. It keeps falling off. Would not recommend.
The story has excerpts from the original movie, but the songs are covers and aren’t what you really want to hear from the movie. Not sure what the queen of the jungle song is, but would have liked a different song instead- can you feel the love tonight, for example would have been muuuch better!
I love the Disney Tonies! At first, I saw the reviews that songs are not original and Yoto cards have more minutes. But hey! those tonies just work perfectly for younger kids (3-5yrs). The stories are indeed shorter (10 -15 minutes), but that’s how long younger kids can follow. It is also great that they have the best songs in the same Tonie, unlike Yoto that you have to purchase stories and songs separately.
When you purchase a Tonie, especially from the Disney collection, it is very much under the expectation that you will hear the classic songs and singers from the movies you love. Sadly, with the lion king this is not the case. Due to this, my child won’t even listen to this character. The rest of the family was disappointed as well. It was not worth the money in our case.
The volume is quite low compared to our other Tonies. Also, the songs are not the original singers; this usually hasn't bothered me (and my kids obviously don't notice), but this is the first time the Tonie version has been significantly worse. Just prepare yourself for lower quality songs.
My son received this as a gift. He enjoys it and that’s great. Two complaints. First not all the songs are on there. Second, the songs are not sung by the original singers. Just seems cheap. Why do some figures have original singers and others don’t? It’s weird
