I have a muscle condition called Fibromyalgia and find lying on most things really makes the condition worse, I bought one of these for our caravan and loved, have an older one on my bed at home which is about 8 years old so about to buy a new one for that, now my son wants one too.

I bought an Ecosa foam mattress for its good back support. It was rated as medium firm but in fact I found the Ecosa mattress VERY FIRM almost to the point of being uncomfortable. In fact my girlfriend find it difficult to sleep on the Ecosa mattress. This Tontine memory foam mattress topper made all the difference in the world. It transformed my firm uncomfortable mattress into a wonderful comfortable slumber mattress whilst still retaining the firm supportive base. Highly recommended if a firm uncomfortable mattress is your problem.

I recently purchased this topper hoping that it would soften my too firm mattress . When i first took it out the box it was horribly scrunched up. However it puffed up to normal size within the hour. It has a washable cover but I hate the cheap nylon feel to it. I put it on the bed and noticed it was rather firm and did not mould to my body at all. Was like sleeping on bouncy latex rather than memory foam. I didn't notice that it slept hot but it moved around a lot on the bed probably due to me tossing and turning all night as I just couldnt get comfortable. It has a very mild smell but not strong like some other memory foam items. If your looking for a soft cuddly marshmallow type topper then this isn't it. Bought this after reading how wonderful it was for bad backs but unfortunately doesn't help with my hip as once it sinks in I still feel the pressure & wake often during the night. Also I have a double bed abd you can only buy in a Quuen. I hesitated because of this but when I read that it was a tight fit I thought it must have a fitting to the mattress so decided to buy, but it just lays over your mattress so have to rely on my sheets to fit it and tuck over at the back.What I was most disappointed about for the price was how thin it was and not at all like it is shown on the packaging.It is comfortable but then so are other less expensive overlays.
I bought one of the remaining ones from Merrylands Big W. I suffer from sciatic nerve pain and rarely get ample sleep. My spine feels well cushioned and my legs no longer suffer from nerve impingement. Whilst this does not relieve all pain, I highly reccomend this product to anyone having trouble sleeping from back pain.
I NEVER write reviews! But I wanted to definitely share my experience. I bought this less than a week ago, and can't believe how differently I sleep now. I suffer with major lower back problems causing painful stiffness in the morning. This mattress topper is incredibly comfortable, supports every pressure point and I just melt away in it every night. I was up feeling so good. You've got to get your hands on one of these!
This Memory Foam Topper has turned an uncomfortable Fold Out Sofa Bed into a really comfortable Bed. I mean you could literally put this thing onto a bare Floor and it'd feel Awesome to lie or sleep on. I'm buying another one as a Camper option to Sleep in the Car when I go to a Party or go Stealth Camping.
This is great !! Highly recommend for anyone....young or old as it takes the pressure of your back...like sleeping on a cloud...could be beneficial for anyone ex specially elderly who may spend a lot of time resting in bed...J’
This is very thin and uncomfortable. It made my semi-comfortable Sealy mattress even more uncomfortable. I tried using under a Japanese futon to give it extra cushioning but it did nothing. The memory foam is cheap and doesn't mould to your body at all. Do not recommend. Spend your money on a decent brand.
