I chose this over slightly cheaper versions because it is Australian made.It is just the right height for my ute tray, without protruding over through the tonneau. Fairly light gauge steel but should be ok.

Make sure the one you buy opens and closes properly. It’s a bit thin and easily bent in transit. The first one I picked up I couldn’t close the lock properly. Once home does everything you’d expect for that price point.
Bought this Toolpro lockable storage box some months ago,and have found it to be pretty sturdy.Has chains on underside of lid so it doesnt fling much past the vertical point when opened.When you go to lock it,you have to first press down hard on the part that the lock hides behind,so it doesnt just flap around.Has room to fit a generally decent sized lock.Quite happy with it.
Needs four anchor points and strengthening in the base before attaching to trailer for example, as the sheet metal is very thin
Good value for money we now have 3 of them and recommend it
