I was a bit dubious when I received this set and saw that it was made in India after another reviewer was unhappy with his after comparison with Taiwan manufactured tools. However, the set I received is comparable in finish and feel to that of a very nice set of Stanley spanners I also purchased and they are accurately dimensioned ( I measured them) which is not always the case with relatively inexpensive tools. Haven't had a chance to abuse them yet but they feel solid.
Great set and very cheap. Comprehensive sizes. Was needing a 6mm and most sets start at 8mm
Good price when on special. Look to be reasonable quality. Made in India. Haven't used yet but trust they will stand up to regular use. Lifetime warranty a good security
Ive had this ToolPro spanner set for some time now and have ended up replacing it due to the following-When i apply pressure to the open end of the spanners,they flex open slightly...its really weird and ive never come across this before.The potential to round the nut is quite high which is very concerning...this is the last thing you want a spanner to do when pressure is applied.Ive purchased other ToolPro tools and they've been OK but this spanner set is average at best.Does the job BUT....
Purchased online and delivered no problem. The quality and finish of product is terrible (made in India now). Toolpro tools used to be of exceptional quality when they were made in Taiwan. Refunded and purchased Sidchrome set on sale which are excellent quality like Toolpro once was.
Have always been impressed with tool pro hand spanners until now. Another review identified avoiding anything pressed with DIN. Take that advice and don't buy them. Hand feel is terrible (narrow and too thin) and the chrome finish peels off after using them. I will have to return these. Hope they bring back the better quality 'tool pro' embossed spanners. So disappointed.
Like some others have said avoid anything pressed with DIN on the tool. Unfortunately these were boxed and could not double check to see if DIN was pressed on the tools. The wrap tools were in was mouldy I can live wth that and cleaned it up. Tools are thin, poorly made and a little sloppy. Thankfully I got these on a half price sale as there is NO way these spanners are worth $50..Save your disappointment and buy another brand unless you can fine the older cast style of this ToolPro spanner set.
