This is easily the best, most heavy duty rolling toolbox I've tried and I own several different ones myself. There are many options for different boxes to stack on top of it. It has attachment points for accessories, such as lights, tablet holder, cup holder and cord wraps (I recommend this last one especially). There is a lock to keep all the boxes together and you slide it over to release each. Each box has a handle on the front to carry it like a briefcase or one on each side to pick them up flat. This thing is built like and ABSOLUTE TANK. In this size box, I keep all my electrical tools. There are 3 organizers, 2 on the bottom w/o covers and 2 on the top with covers. The top ones keep the lower ones covered. So the lower ones were better for Tape, Solder, etc. ... MoreThis is easily the best, most heavy duty rolling toolbox I've tried and I own several different ones myself. This box would also be perfect for hammer, nails, screws etc.

To say I am pleased, happy, content… would be such an understatement here. This thing is a beast. Only downside is that even empty they are a bit heavy. Otherwise it is built so well. IP65 waterproof rating. Bottom box on wheels can take up to 250lbs of weight. I like the extending handle is detachable from the primary box, it has metal reinforcement the accessory slat wall rail on the corners is awesome. Handle is super sturdy, latch to open it is not about to break, trays inside are nice and useful, and the way each section locks to the next does not leave me wondering if it latched. This is just a super well thought out design that will come in handy for years to come!

I got the full set of these ToughBuilt StackTech toolboxes, and I am very impressed with them! They are true to their name in multiple ways:- They "stack", and they stack easily and well. And not only do they stack easily on top of each other, but they LOCK onto each other. There is a sliding lock switch on the front of the smaller boxes that allows them to quickly lock onto the rolling base or to one another. As soon as you place one on top of another, the lock automatically engages - you don't have to remember to take an extra step of locking them yourself. And then you can disengage the lock quickly with that sliding switch mentioned earlier. Pretty slick!!- They are "Tough". You can tell just by handling them - they don't flex around when you carry them or open them - they keep their shape! And the material walls are plenty thick - you don't have to worry about accidentally hitting them with a tool and breaking them.- Each of the boxes has some accessory attachment points on the corners. I understand that there are a host of attachments coming out soon that will make these attachment points very handy to have!- Each box has a large center latch that makes opening and closing the box a breeze. None of those wimpy two-piece latches that always seem to brake or never seem to line up properly!- All of the boxes are rated IP-65, which means they are water and dust resistant. No more arriving to the job site and finding your tools are covered in road dust or that rain leaked in and ruined some tools! For the specific "standard" toolbox - It comes with a nice set of 2 storage bins without lids and two with lids that include removable dividers. The ones without lids can be stacked on top of each other, but the ones with lids can only go on top of the ones without lids (due to the way the bottom of the toolbox is shaped and the way the ones without lids are cut on the bottom) - not a big deal, but that does limit the way you can arrange them some within the box. (I would like to see some of these storage bins included with the other toolbox sizes.) Similar to the other medium/large toolbox, this one comes with front and side carry handles. This is a nice compact size toolbox that can carry around a decent number of tools and supplies for smaller jobs.

So far, so good. The units are pretty solid (the plastic is 3.80mm thick), not as thick as Milwaukee's, but they've got metal reinforcement, even on the lids (check out the pics). All the boxes have sealed lids with gaskets, but let's see how long those last.Stacking and unstacking is a breeze compared to Milwaukee's; these just slide in and out super easily. The locking mechanism is spring-loaded, front and back, and you can actually service them since there are screws and a metal plate around the mechanism. The bottom box with wheels feels just as tough as Milwaukee's and being able to remove the arm easily is a nice to have. The extra size on the organizer is nice, Ive been able to consolidate multple drawers into it.Definitely looking forward to the units with ... MoreSo far, so good. This particular tool box system has a lot to offer for both home owners and contractors in the field. This particular smaller tool box has multiple smaller trays on the inside, including 2 that are covered. The plastic is sturdy and should take the abuse of the jobsite. the box has a handle on each side for easy carrying and loading. the box also has a significant snap-lock that i believe will keep the cover closed and tight. The box automatically locks onto the unit below ( in a multiple tool box setup) and appears to be a solid connection to the box below. the box can be locked using a padlock and there are a number of other accessories available that can be mounted on the accessory rails located at the corner of the tool box. TLDR: Good stuff, great features, love that its black, can open/close/mount/unmount one handed (decent accessibility), rolling chest handle has some wobble but can easily be removed for transport! (take that Packout), concerns over mounting mechanism durability but not so much it would keep me from buying it again. Would buy again over my Packout depending on my needs.__________________________________I have kept this review to Stacktech in general as most of my thoughts cover the entire product line. For background I have been using Milwaukee Packout gear since 2018, utilizing them for construction tools, telecom tools, and IT equipment. I have used other storage systems lightly so most of my comparisons will be to Packout since it's what I have the most experience with.I bought Stacktech for AV gear (cameras, lenses, cables, SDI equipment, rigging, etc.) mostly because it stands out less than other solutions (you know, it's not bright red or orange) but it has really surprised me. I think this is a great solution when stacked up against Packout.Pros:It's not a flashy color like Packout or the Klien Modbox. It rides the line perfectly of looking lowkey without looking cheap. The rolling toolbox handle can be removed quickly and easily for transport! The plastics feel durable and are well molded. You can open them one handed and remove them from the stack one handed (the release lever is spring loaded). It also stays unlocked until you set it back on the stack, so you don't have to slide it on, you just set it back down and it clicks on. This is great for accessibility. (The rolling box handle can be lowered one handed without too much fuss but raising it one handed is more difficult albeit possible)The top is dished so you can work off the top without stuff rolling off or getting stuck down in the mounting cleats (a problem I have with Packout). The corner mounting solution is genius, I cut open the long tool holder and added Velcro so I could put whatever I want in it. I just wish they sold the mounting mechanism in a DIY friendly format so I could make my own tool/equipment mounts.Potential CONs:The mounting mechanism is more complicated than Packout, I haven't had any issues, but I am keeping this in mind when thinking about durability/longevity. I certainly hope that they thoroughly tested the main mechanism and any issues with this are covered under the limited lifetime warranty. The mounting mechanism also doesn't have the mounting surface area like Packout does, so we will see if there are any issues with things breaking or coming undone from drops, falls, transport, use over the years, etc.The rolling chest handle is wobbly when lifted. The looseness is where the tubes meet each other and not with the mechanism that allows the handle to be removed. I would gladly take this trade off and be able to remove the handle, but it does feel a bit cheap with how loose it is.The molding design/thickness of the plastic means you don't have quite as much space in the boxes as Packout, but it's not drastically different.
This is not your mother's tupperware. The casing may be plastic (or some polymer) but it does not feel like you have to handle it with white gloves. Quite the opposite; i swang it around holding it by a single handle and at no point does it feel like it's gonna fall apart. Inside, it comes with some trays for tools and there's plenty of room to fit tools in addition to the trays. There's a sliding, gray handle that locks each toolbox to the one below. While locked, i tried my best to make them come apart and they would not. This is designed and built well; it's not meant to hold cookies but move heavy tools while keeping them organized and protected from shifting while in transit and on the jobsite. I'm very impressed!
I was pretty excited when I ordered the Toughbuilt StackTech toolbox as this is something I have needed for a long time but was surprised at just how durable they are in person. I expected them to be thin plastic like a fishing tackle box but I was way off, they are thick and well supported plastic boxes. The small toolbox is a lot heavier than I expected and I am still back and forth if that is good or not. I went from carrying a large tool bag with no organization to this tool box and I need to look at what I really want to load in here. The 4 parts bins are nice to have and hold quite a bit of screws, nails, bits, tape, wire nuts or anything small. When stacking on the bigger toolboxes the alignment is beautiful and effortless. The 4 parts bins are nice to have and hold quite a bit of screws, nails, bits, tape, wire nuts or anything small. When stacking on the bigger toolboxes the alignment is beautiful and effortless. I really like the easy latch to unluck each box and the center handle is very easy to use. Everything about this toolbox is for use with one hand in mind which I really enjoy about it. It would be nice if there could be some other kind of divider in the open section for things like screwdrivers and wrenches so they wouldn't roll under the parts bins. I will need to conform to what will be organized into each box but this is a big improvement over what I have been using for so long. I am very impressed with the durability of how they are built, ease of use and highly recommend.
This toolbox will work great for my electrical hand tools. Nice trays included are removable if you don't want use them but work great for small items. The covers are a nice feature on the trays to keep things from moving around when transporting. The latching mechanism is great for both latching and unlatching with one hand. Makes it quick and easy. The handles are well built and make the box easy to carry with one hand or two if you have it loaded down.I didn't like that the stickers on the outside of the box did not want to peel off cleanly but nothing some elbow grease won't fix.Looking forward to 2024 when there will be many more items available for this system to make it even more versitile.

It’s water rated ip65, which is very comforting to know, because I’m always working outside. The simple way they stack, click and lock together is simple yet very secure.
