I bought the TP-LINK Archer MR200 LTE Modem because of its dual band feature and the ability to take 3G or 4G sim cards. The 5 GHz wireless band is exceptionally fast and not too many users are on it. The modem has a 2.4 GHz band as well, and you can set it up at the same time to have two different access points, but there might be interference because most others in the building use the 2.4 GHz band.I got the modem from Verkkokauppa, went to Telia and got a 300 Mbps connection, inserted the sim card and voila! I was connected to the internet. In the past one month of use, I never had to restart the wireless connections or the modem. Got this to replace another 4G modem that was, at best, a bit unreliable. This unit has been totaly reliable since purchase and after several months of continuous coperation, has hnever yet failed to have a connection. I use the unit in a remote location to connect security cameras and it is very reliable. I use an EE data sim card although originally tested using an O2 sim. Both worked perfectly so I got a second unit as a back up

Very easy interface to use. Simply turn it on, connect to it and follow the instructions on screen. This router is ideal for places where traditional ADSL connections are slow. I live in a very hilly location and signal is not great, however with this router, I am able to connect to the internet well. Using a traditional broadband provider with a 'line' I could potentially achieve 38Mbps. With this 4G router, I have been able to download at 50+Mbps. Definitely worth the initial outlay and monthly fee to mobile phone provider. This device can also be used with an external router to use with a standard BT/Virgin line. You can then use the 4G part as backup in case of service outages. This can allow resilience for critial connections. Would I buy it again? Yes, in a breath.

Pros: It's 'Plug and play'. So easy to connect following the instructions. With the network deals going on at this time. I use one of the phone deals, that give me a large amount of data for a reasonable price. Switch it on and it works. What more could you ask for.Cons: The improvements I would like to see are different colours being available (White or Beige). As time goes on. I would think the router could be made smaller but that may affect its brilliant capabilities.
Needed an alternative to my Telstra postpaid modem that was supplied as part of my part because the telstra-supplied one was just terrible with the range.Bought this one, took the sim card out of my Telstra one and inserted into this modem, powered this modem on and worked straight away. The range is much better and the speeds are satisfactory for everyday internet usage.
Purchased via Office Works Australia fast click and collect.A nice easy plug and play unit. For 3G/4G use only. Currently 5G/6G will be in the distant future.Follow the quick set up guide. Install a valid sim card. Switch on. Follow the first boot prompts . It is that simple. The more advance user can download the 80 page pdf file. The unit allows for both local WiFi and four hard wired network connections. The unit has internal WiFi antenna. This may be an issue in some household situations. The two external antenna shown. Are for connection to the nearest mobile cell tower. Also one port can be connected to the NBN FTTP wall box. If and when it becomes available. After the problematic obsolete multi mix VDSL/Cable is pensioned off to the trash bin.
Got this on discount. Just moved house didn't want to get into a 24mth broadband contract. This is great pop in a 30day 4g sim works perfectly just like a regular broadband router. Connected it to 2 phones and a laptop no problems fast speed with a Smarty 4g sim card. It's deffo amplifies the signal better than a mobile just on data, is so much faster. I would deffo recommend this router it give you so many more options with some really good 4g sim only deal around. The router it's self is so simple to set up use. Download the router app to your phone put the sim in the router switch it on your online within minutes. Go to the router webpage for more customisable options for security etc. I am in no way a tech geek just not at all it really is just very simple plug ... MoreGot this on discount. Pros: Frustratingly there aren't any! I had to mark it low on points that I have no view of because the chip insertion was such a problem the other areas were not tested.Cons: The insertion of the chip is way too fiddly and requires a piece of sticky paper to keep the chip in the holder whilst it is being inserted. There has to be an easier way of doing this. A really good idea that fails in a big way on such a simple thing. I never managed to connect it to the internet and the help fails miserably when it comes to non connection and teh type pf chip required.
Pros: Easy setup, works well with Vodafone UK. (Test the networks for performance prior to choosing). Software is familiar for TP-link users.Cons: It needs a re-boot every now and again to keep the connection alive. No great inconvenience. WiFi could be brighter.
Why pay an on going fortune for a device through a retail communications provider such as Telstra! I bought this device through Scorptec hassle free then a Sim Card and pay 30 dollars a month through Belong I get great internet hassle free! Watch Netflix, no worries for 30 dollars per month! What a great device!
