Previously I was unable to get any coverage in my garage or in my side backyard. I placed the third one in the bedroom closet to the garage and I am still overwhelmed with how my Arlo cameras are getting the wi-fi outside so easily now. If you are on the fence, I want to reassure you that this system is a piece of cake and the engineering of this system is amazing. You just plug the main one first with the ethernet and the others do not need that ethernet once you connect the first one and follow the directions for syncing then, start adding the other two ones until you sync all three of them. I just showed two neighbors of mine and looks like they are going to go and get the same system after seeing what this system can do.

I have had many routers over the years but this mesh system hits every key need you could have in an internet connection. It is fast. My old router would drop or slow things especially movies and complicated games. This router is excellent even when company comes to stay with all the security cams, tv’s, phones, iPads, computers we have in use at the same time ( it might be 50-60 items) there is no problem. This router is rated for 120 connections! The 3 stations deliver clear internet usage throughout our 3,000 sq ft. home ( it is rated for 5600 sq. ft.) Another issue was outdoors. We like to entertain outside and the old router had a limited range. This router offers clear signals throughout our yard also. It is just amazing. Only needed 2 of the 3 modules to cover the inside of my masonry home. The signal on these is strong! Turned off the wireless on the xfinity router and removed the 2 tplink network expanders I was using to cover the house. Now just have one signal and no need to manually transfer to the stronger network. Will use the 3rd for bbqs and such. Btw, it has a feature to setup a guest network AND it has an "optimize" feature where it looks for wireless signals that may interfere with it and then it changes signals. Since installing the X1500s the signal between units has improved hugely, cutting through the walls like they're not even there. All neat features I did not have before (although, frankly, I don't set any schedules). The items are well made and blend into the house decor fine. Comes with a 2 year warranty and has 24 x 7 Tech support. Overall, this mesh network system is A+.
There are so many things I really love about the routers, but we have been tweaking issues for a few days now. The app is very helpful and easy to navigate. Trying to get support through chat did not work, but we found some helpful people in the community forum. As of now everything is running good, and I’m glad we have the routers, they are definitely an upgrade.Setting up the 1st router was a breeze and the next two routers transferred quickly from the install. I’m not sure why but our TV images were a lot brighter as soon as we installed the router. However, we had sound problems, apps freezing, and outside cameras would not video. The app has many great tools to help with performance issues. We are just running a router upstairs and downstairs, and that seems to be working perfectly for our needs. We had nine devices running today with zero issues.After we got the kinks worked out, I couldn’t be happier with these routers.
