Already have 24/7 CCTV but wanted a ring doorbell esk solution to trigger an alarm on human detection, my current CCTV does email me but when im asleep thats not going to cut it.Charge battery first takes about 6 hours, screw to wall and screw camera on. Mine were position in such a way they wouldn't detect anything other than people coming through a farm gate, you can trigger an alarm on the device to sound and also trigger the lights on the device. Quality is good and detection is set to Human only and works, dogs can run into garden fine, but when i run in there it gets me.My only negative is they communicate directly with the H200 hub also in the package they wont work with the smaller H100 thats for doorbells and light sensors. But once the Cam is triggered it can be made to trigger the internal HUB also which makes a bellowing sound...so you can get out of bed and grab your rocket launcherThe problem is for me anyway my cameras are set to activate 11pm at night till 6 in the morning, so between these times they detect and sound their own external alarms, but there is no way to make the Hub do the same. Even though the cameras are not triggering their respective alarm thru the day they still trigger the internal which can be annoying. @TPLINK make the HUB work with schedules please :)Hub can connect via ethernet or Wifi and needs to be in range of Cams, mines around 25ft from both and works fine.

Where to start with this camera....first video quality is amazing. I have been using Wyze Outdoor Cams for years and this TP-Link camera blows them away. Just the fact that you can remove the battery or hot-swap batteries is amazing. Setup was a breeze installing the mount and also configuring via the app. Smooth and seamless. I was so impressed that I ended up buying two more camera for complete coverage. If I had any complaints it would be that the cameras are a little long, I was used to the small cube formfactor of the Wyze cams. Also, I would have liked the base station/hub to have a wireless feature instead of needing to be plugged in via CAT5. Other than that, these are great camera for the money spent. So, if you have a large enough SD card, you should be covered for weeks if not months of recordings.

I got this camera to replace a defective Eufy camera, and I was quite impressed. The picture quality is really good. I would have preferred a 4K camera at this price, but the 2K performs very well. The night vision works very well too. Whether you have porch lights in the area, use the built in spot light, or just pure night vision the picture still looks decent at night. You'll get colorized night vision with porch lights or the built in spot light, and you'll get black and white video with no lights at all, thanks to the IR lights. My complaints with the system are just a few. First off, I don't like the lack of wi-fi connectivity. Sure, wired provides the most stable connection, but having the option to set up wireless should be an option. My second complaint is ... My second complaint is lack of built in storage. You can either pay for their cloud service or provide your own MicroSD card, but only up to 256MB. Meaning, if you have this in a high traffic area, that storage is going to fill up fast.Small complaints aside, I really like this camera and the peace of mind it provides. I'm not sure about the long term durability of it, but I will be sure to update this review if and when I have any problems. For now, I highly recommend!

Pretty easy to setup and assemble. This is my first camera of any type so this is coming from a complete newbie. I've never seen one used in person before so I don't have anything to judge it against. I also have to admit I'm not a big techie, but I can usually figure it out. That being said, was easy to setup, connect to my phone and modem. It does require a card if you want to save the videos.I haven't used the night vision yet so I can't comment on that yet but will update this review when I do.
the battery life is impressive given it's not that big of a battery. The 2k quality is good as well. It does not come with a micro SD card so I recommend buying one for local storage, and/or you can sign up for their cloud subscription. Setting it up was simple. It does require a physical hub that needs a connection to your modem/router. It's a small box.
This was packaged very well. All of the pieces clearly identified. Instructions were clear. Instructions point you to an app for setup. That worked but I had to watch a you tube video to get it. I never get these things on the first try. Video is amazing. The video I downloaded was just after dusk, essentially dark. Motion detection is very sensitive and you can set up a privacy mode along with other features.. When the product says wireless they mean the camera. The hub required a wired network connection. You also need a micro SD card to store video.
