TP-Link Tapo C100 1080P HD Indoor Wifi Security Camera

I have now bought three of these cameras and installed at two properties. I was so impressed with the first one that I bought the other two to replace a couple of Nest cameras I had at the other property. I control all of them from one app on my smartphone. Installation is really easy, the picture quality is very impressive and can be enlarged and panned around also very easily. I have also installed 64GB microSD cards in each of them, which provides several weeks worth of video capture. When the card is full, it simply loops round and overwrites the oldest videos with the latest ones. Videos can also be downloaded. I have them installed at double glazed windows and found that night mode was hopeless due to the reflection of the low light emitted by the camera itself. Day mode at night still provides a decent amount of visibility even under very low external light conditions. The functionality and value of this camera is way better than the first generation Nest cameras that I previously had. Very satisfied. :-)

This is probably the best compared to brand xiaomi. Connection to the app is easy no trouble at all. Updating firmware is seamless. Camera is better than I thought.You can mute notifications on phone whilst you are inside or go to the app and turn on private mode. I just mute my notifications in case u forget to turn off private mode when I got out. I also assigned a loud alert on my phone.I just tried recording on my phone app. It saves to the phone memory. And also the camera memory. You can delete them separately.The footage is all in the camera memory, SD card to be fair. But you can save snapshots or videos direct to the phone. I'm on android btw.I turned the camera off whilst it was recording. If you like or hide it with the LED OFF. however in night mode two infrared lights are needed.Easy to use app.Takes a micro SD for recordings. I had a 32gb in a week and it's not full on alert recordings. You can also have continuous recording or time slots for no recordings too.I would of bought a 128gb card but have a few 32gb ones spare.Easy to set up in minutes.3 metres of power cord.Option to screw to a wall or just set on a shelf etc.Perfect little WiFi camera

Good Points: You can see if you’re in bed if anyone breaks in as you get immediate person activation messages. Great if you live on your own st night as well. We used it while we were abroad and could easily see if anyone had broken in. Gives you peace of mind. We placed one towards the front door and the other towards the back door. Great picture can identify faces clearly however the talk function could be alot better. You can also run this with an sr card bought separately which is another reason why we purchased them. No contract was a big bonus .Improvement Points: If you place this up against a window and have outside lights it reflects back into the room which is nit great.
