Fixed the power supply for my 700e outdoor Logitech camera. the Powerline 200 adapter combined with the PoE Injector (TP-Link: TL-POE150S) replaced my non working Logitech camera power supply. You connected the TL-POE150S to your camera with the output going to the Powerline 200 adapter. The Powerline adapter sends the camera signal to your existing computer software. The TL-POE150S is powered with an adapter and the Powerline 200 also plugs in to AC. the configuration is larger than one box but my camera works again. The commander software told me to update the adapter software so i did that and i also had to unplug the new components and then reboot my computer. After that my software found the camera and it is working.

I like to keep our entire network up and running when there's a power outage. I have one network hub off on its own in the basement. Instead of attaching this hub to it's own battery backup I decided to use a POE injector at the modem and router so they could all share the existing battery backup. This was my first time using POE, so I wanted to stick with IEEE 802.3af compliant POE devices to keep it simple. It was easy to set up and has worked flawlessly. The only slightly tricky aspect was I needed to buy an adapter to get the correct barrel size for the power connector, but luckily the one I needed was one of the Home Essentials Direct suggested items. I do like that it allows for different power settings.

Pros: * Plug and Play Cons: * Not a big fan of the shiny exterior, but this is a minor issue I needed a POE injector for an outdoor camera that I recently purchased. Upon receiving it, I opened it up, plugged the power supply into the unit, plugged the two ethernet cords in and everything just works. No configuration no confusion on which cable goes where. My only minor issue with this injector is the fact the product photos show a matte black finish but the product actually has a mirror black finish. I'm not a fan of mirror finishes on products, but I'll make an exception with this product since it will be hidden from view most of the time.
I have four and plan to buy a fifth. All are connected to my POE-enabled backbone switch to power my router, modem, smart light controller, and nanny-cam. I intend to power a non-smart switch with the fifth. This will genuinely split POE, as power and data can be connected to different devices. I would give it five stars, but it is unable to power my Roku Premiere+, even though it should work on paper. Overall I recommend.
