I've bought 7 of these switches via PrimeCables/Shoppers+ for a small/medium office deployment. Originally had a switch from a different brand that failed. While these are unmanaged, and don't come with all of the features of more expensive options, they have been rock solid so far.

If you are looking for a good, simple to install, switch- then this one is for use. This switch is a fanless design, making it very quiet. One thing to keep in mind is that if you plan on rack mounting it, this particular model will not fit in a standard rack. Also, this switch is unmanaged, a simple plug and play design. So far, I have had no issues with it and it has worked flawlessly- I use this switch in my home, from witch I remote into work from. I have used VPN’s, large files and all that fun, and the switch has worked great. I would recommend this switch to anyone needing a simple , 24 port, plug and play switch.

Different brand switch died in 6 months. This worked immediately. No need for crossover cables or reserving a port from the router. The rack mount brackets can be securely attached at 90 degrees from their intended position (facing the bottom of the unit) so you can wall-mount it. (this should be documented in the manual and isn't). Uses a standard PC 3 prong full-voltage cable--no external power supply. The only (very minor) downside is it's a little bulky and was a tight fit in my mounting location--wider from front to back than any switch I've had before. Manual is very thorough but focuses more on commercial rather than residential installations. So far a good, fast, solid and economical gigabit switch. It seems to run faster than the previous gigabit switch too.
Great switch if you're looking to wire your own home network. I'm in an older house that has no form of networking cables run in it, but have attic access and have had this on my list for a while to do. This was the switch I'd researched to get even though it costs more than others I'd looked at. This is overkill for my needs, but I wanted to future-proof things. I received v4 of the switch, and it pretty much is plug and play out of the box. I've seen others comment you need to manually set which port is the WAN port connected to your router but that's not the case on the V4. Just plug it into any port and it knows what to do. Have had no issues with it, there is no fan on the unit so it's super quiet (no noise at all), and it's very lean on power. I believe it ... I have a Sense monitor and have noticed no significant changes in power use when everything else is off.
I bought a pair of these to run my home network. They feel rock solid. The all-metal housing is substantial and gives me a sense that they can take some abuse. The rack mounting wings go into place easily, and they fit my rack rails just as they should (19 inches). Quality control is solid. I've tested every port, and they all work at gigabit speed. Some have complained about the spotted paint on the body of this device. It's not a concern to me, as they will be concealed in a rack (where only the front is visible), but if you want to keep one displayed on your desk, it's not a good look. Still, not on my list of requirements for a switch. I will be sure to note if I experience any issues over time. But for now, these are just what I needed at a very reasonable price.
I had a Netgear 8 port GS108 Pro Safe and it didn’t even last a year. I woke up one morning with the Netgear making a high pitched squeal and it was warm to the touch with no lights on. I even replaced the power supply cable and only 3/8 ports would work while dropping the connection. The Netgear was in a well ventilated open space on my computer desk and it was never dropped. I decided to go with TP-LINK 24 port and I’m hoping it will last longer. I really liked the price and the sturdy metal construction with the grids of leds. Full speeds and no issues running on a Nest Router and Google Wifi pucks hardwired to Ethernet. I’m keeping the TP-LINK on my backup UPS and hoping for the best. I was getting ready to add streaming video to an AV setup and needed a number of ports for remote control and such. Cost difference between this and the 16-port model was minimal. Fit into the open slot I had in my rack and we have plenty of capacity for not only the connections but the switch backplane capacity.
This was an easy plug and play replacement for a 14yo 10/100 24 port switch. I think the old switch was 'dying' from age and power surges/outages. I replaced the old switch and was back up running in 30 minutes. Don't need the speed since the majority of connected devices are 100MBps, but the connectivity is reliable again.
