Now that's a good pan. Solid built w 3 ply that you can SEE in your soon to be even cooking, heavy enough to not flop around when you're cooking fast and furious, the great handle grips so well (although 30cm I can't lift w one hand w food, my problem not the pan's), and the price fits the bill oh so well that I bought 2 already, one after another, and hoping for some sauce pans, milk pans etc.I'm really into cooking and have been wanting to buy All Clad for at least 2 decades, but the prices is steep enough to have kept me at bay. I've research long and hard, even with famous M French copper pans - this, was the final choice with the new 2nd home, as what works AND performs as a workhorse is good value that'd last many years. One note on those who are not ... MoreNow that's a good pan. It's NOT NONSTICK! You HAVE to use oil, and if you're pan frying something you worry may stick, oil the meat too AND cover the surface of the pan. Let it do it's thing too, so when the protein is sealed, it WILL release on its own. That is all. There are white marks after the first wash but that's ok. It doesn't hurt you or the pan. You also don't need screaming high heat, as it heats pretty fast with good conductivity. Yes, you may burn something the first time. I've got a new range and I did too not knowing the power of my new double burner, but don't despair! It's easier to clean even burnt BECAUSE it's stainless, you can be a lot more mean and scrape... or use salt and potato, bicarb+hot vinegar in a hot pan works too. There's nothing that will peel off that's potentially harmful. We didn't know Teflon was cancer causing, and if they knew they wouldn't have used. So be safe and use stainless. Amen.Obrigada Tramontina, I'm officially a Grano fan! And pros to Wayfair for keeping prices low so everyone can afford a great pan. Happy days!

The purchase is just as we wanted. The pan is high quality, heavy-base and works almost like non-stick surface.

I paid more for this than I'm used to paying for a frying pan, but as I was looking for an alternative to the non-stick-coated pans we've used up to now, my aim was to try and get it right first time. And I think I did. The frying pan is a solid bit of kit with a metal handle, which I like - I thought it might get hot when using, but so far no. I've used it a few times now for various dishes including onions, noodles, mushrooms and sausages - only the latter stuck slightly to the pan. But no biggie. As for after-care, the pan cleans up no problem and with minimal effort. After cleaning I half fill the pan with a mixture of lemon juice and warm water, leave it for a few minutes before pouring it away, then wiping dry with a paper towel to bring it back to its ... MoreI paid more for this than I'm used to paying for a frying pan, but as I was looking for an alternative to the non-stick-coated pans we've used up to now, my aim was to try and get it right first time. The only thing I haven't tried is eggs, so I can't give an opinion on that. Otherwise it was a worthwhile buy.
I accidentally bought the 20cm pan first and decided it might be useful...and it is! This one is a great size. They both perform really well and the food doesn't stick if you heat them up properly and also easy to clean. I'm slightly wary on the dishwasher safe claim as my previous pan that I have just replaced said the same but the rivets corrode and so the handle became loose. I will mix up the washing styles!
The delivery was fast, no issues and the frying pan was better than expected: lighter and with a bigger base than I thought it would have. I need more time to get used to cook with a stainless steel frying pan and it’s not that easy to clean it, but it’s much healthier,so I recommend this product.
I expected a stainless steel product which can be easily cleaned. There are stains even after scrubbing
Ordered this Tramontina because I wanted an uncoated pan for braising and frying, and Harts of Stur had the best combination of price and service. It's everything I was looking for, cleans up well, and will last a long time with proper care. It'd be nice if a lid were offered but not a dealbreaker.
It's a good pan with a lovely surface, really insulating handle and great ergonomics that make it a joy to flip pancakes. I must say it doesn't sit totally flush on my glass cooktop, but since this doesn't seem to affect heat distribution I decided to live with it.
