Buying a chip is very binary. It either works or doesn't work. If it works its 5 stars and not 1 star. Assuming it works, how was the price. Well when you shopped it on a comparison price basis you made the choice to buy it at this price. Don't let the warrant on this card sway your decision to buy this product. I like buying memory with lifetime warranty for the added assurance that the manufacturer will stand behind their product. However, in Transcend's case, this warranty is useless. This card has always been in my phone until I swapped phones. Immediately, the new phone would not recognize the SD card. I swapped it back to the original phone and it would no longer read it. Neither would two computers with various card readers and recovery programs. Nothing would recognize that it even existed. Transcend quickly rejected my warranty claim due to "Physical Damage to Product." On the edge of the card is a small scrape.
