So far, I am very pleased with this Transcend 64GB MicroSDXC Class card. If you are wondering if you show putchase this SD Card over other brands, then in my opinion, I say BUY THIS CARD! Very highly recommend this card.

Confirmed card for authenticity with manufacturer. Card no longer has 400x, simply Premium. See attached. Fast read and write speed matching more expensive microSD cards. Used with mini 0906 dash-cam, fills up in 1 day. Initial boot up of videos takes a while, possibly a PC limitation. CrystalDiskMark6.0.0.0 x64 showed 86Mb/s read and 21Mb/read. Other random tests show lower speed. Screenshot Attached.

I use an Action Cam every day in my car's dashboard, just in case of insurance issues (where i live, people drive in "aggressive mode"). When i bought my camera, a couple of years ago, i acquired a 32GB MicroSD Class 10 "1st. generation", it works flawlessly recording video at 1080p/30fps. Until one day, my camera receives an update, and then, was able to record at 1080p/60fps. But i noticed immediately, that video and sound weren't synchronized, many "bumps" and a lot of lag in video recording. So i decided to upgraded to this Transcend SD card and VOILA! No more lag or record issues. Definitely a really nice upgrade.

Memory card works great, SD Adapter won't "unlock"
8 February 2018

Purchased Memory card for use with SJCAM SJ4000. Instructions for actionCAM recommend formating card in a computer. Could not get the SD Adapter to "unlock" in the computer memory card reader. Was able to format Memory card in SJ4000 actionCAM. Card works great in actionCam, recording and downloading videos.

Over the past decade I used more than one dozen Transcend memory cards (including CF, SD and micro-SD), and have never encountered any card failures. They are all reasonably priced and provide adequate performances. So when I saw thisTranscend 64GB MicroSDXC Class 10 UHS-1 card (TS64GUSDU1P) offered during Home Essentials Direct Deal of the Day sale, I quickly grabbed another one. This product is advertised as '400x', or 60MB/s ('1x' = 150kB/s, a leftover from the days of CD-ROM drives). But this is referring to its Sequential READ speed only. The Sequential Write speed is much slower according to my testing. I used a program called CrystalDiskMark v3.0.1 x64 to benchmark this card. The Sequential Write speed is much slower according to my testing. I used a program called CrystalDiskMark v3.0.1 x64 to benchmark this card. The card reader I used is theTranscend USB 3.0 Card Reader (TS-RDF5K) , plugged into an USB 3.0 port. This is important to note because if you use an USB 2.0 card reader or USB port, the card speed will be handicapped. My benchmark result shows this card has a sequential Read speed of 67.5MB/s, which is better than the advertised 60MB/s. Its Write speed, however, is only 21.2MB/s. Technically this is twice as fast as a 'class-10' card, but it is slower than most other UHS-1 microSD cards I have purchased in the past two years. See the comparison chart I uploaded for details. [Bottom Line] This is a decent card and a good value. I just wish its write speed is on par with other UHS-1 cards. In my case, I intend to use it in a portable media player, so the write speed is not critical. But if you need a memory card for recording HD video or for use in DSLR, look for one that bears the symbol 'U3' (A big 'U' with a '3' inside). I have tested theSony 64GB microSDXC High Speed Memory Card (SR64UXA/TQ) and its Write speed is 57.2MB/s - almost 3 times faster than this U1 card. [Other Observations] - The card says "Made in Taiwan" - The capacity of this '64GB' card, as reported by my computer, is 60.0GB. This is actually higher than that of some other cards. For example, theGigastone MicroSDXC 64GB (GS-2IN1X1064G-R) only shows 58.2GB

Pete's review of Transcend 32GB MicroSDHC Flash Card with Adaptor Class 10
12 June 2016

Pros: It's a Micro SD Card. It either works or it doesn't. This one does so top marks.Cons: The packaging was unnecessarily large. The card itself was packed in a small flat blister pack but it was delivered in a huge box filled mostly with packing. This would have easily and securely fitted into a C5 jiffy bag.

This card completely replaces CD/DVDs - you need one!

A 16GB microSD from Transcend. This card is a Class 10 which means fast data transfer and reliability, it handles large 1080p HD videos with no problem. There is no frame loss. This is my second one within a few weeks as it's so useful. I would like it more if a microSD to SD adapter was included. So far I have stored 1080p films, photos and music for my media player and also want to use one to backup files on my PC. This microSD also works in a USB adapter, so the possibilities of what you can use it for are endless. I'm buying another to use with a USB adapter on my WiFi router to store and share files at home between computers etc. I will buy a 32GB one next!

This is a great value.
13 November 2015

While the micro-SD card isn't the fastest form of storage, it's one of the most convenient. It can be used in almost every device on the market thanks to all the various adapters. 32GB is the limit on some device so this is a very practical purchase. At the low price offered by B&H I recommend purchasing several. There are even RAID adapters to combine the cards info a larger and faster storage solution. This item is a great value that can't be beat.

Works well
11 April 2022

I've started working with Raspberry Pi. I don't need much storage space for my implementation but since disk images require the full size of the disk for the initial pass, anything greater than 8GB would take too long and require a secondary storage device twice the size. I had difficulty finding a quality brand for sale in 8GB size until I found this item on B&H. I've had good luck with transcend storage in the past so hopefully the 4 cards I bought this time will last a long time.

Yes, I know memory is getting smaller and smaller. In 5-10 years, I'll probably be writing a review for a 1TB microSD card. This card just works and it gives your phone plenty of space to hold all the apps you could desire. I have an Android phone with an offline maps app (Maps with Me) and this card easily holds the ENTIRE WORLD of maps in only 16-17GB. That means you have plenty of additional space for apps, music, video, ringtones, whatever you want. It's a great size if you want to take a lot of stuff with you and pair it with a USB flash drive adapter and/or an SD card adapter. All in all, very versatile and this card just works! The price is great too!
