Great charger as the title states! I bought this one after researching them for a while, it is the best buy in my mind anyway, I did the research for you! Got this because it charges the metal nickle halide batteries and also the lipo batteries. It is about as safe as you can get with especially when using Traxxas ID battery packs, it automatically knows what type you're charging and how to charge them the most efficient way possible. You can use this with all different manufacturers batteries also, it does have a manual mode too. Endless options, neat, clean, and simple! Love it! I absolutely love the safety aspect of this charger too! Just buy it, and be done with it!

Our 11 year old son lives this car. There is a “training mode” that cuts the speed in half for younger drivers to learn how to handle the car before going full throttle. Be aware that it down not come with a wall charger- we should have read more carefully. The charger must be plugged into a DC port of a car. A wall adapter is available for about $25 which we recommend purchasing.

This is my first RC car since 1988 ( Traxxas- the Cat ) . I am very happy with this Bandit. Much faster than I expected, good control , battery life isn't bad . It seems quite rugged. The grandkids seem to aim for solid objects, and no damage so far.I had several questions once I got the buggy. I wrote to RC superstore and was quite pleased to get quick responses (from the same tech no less!) which solved my issues completely.I recommend the Bandit and the RC superstore.

Very fast and good traction. Front guard broke on first day and battery life is short. Fast charger only works with DC converter. Should have a.c. adapter included and front guard made of aluminum.
I have a NEW Traxxas RC car,(model 58034-2), so I bought new battery for an extra so I could keep enjoying car while 1st battery is charging. But this battery runs down in about 6-8 minutes. My volt meter indicates only 9.2 volts when fully charged and it takes about 5 hours to recharge it ! So I guess it's faulty. I only have maybe 4 hours on car in total ! My 7 year old niece wanted a Maxx for a year after she saw mine. Obviosuly that was way way too dangrous, but she wanted something that could get some air. and she wanted it in PINK. So I bought this, the most beautiful pink traxxas I could find, and built her a pink sparkly jump. She was the happiest kid ever. The build quality is above what I expected, and the main feature of traxxas of course is durability, customer support, and excellent parts ordering options. Putting this into training mode, she can handle it, and her 10 year old sister could handle fast mode as long as there are no curbs to run into. We broke it in the first weekend but that was the perfect initiation into 'the hobby' of repairing and eventually upgrading these things. We also added the LED ... We also added the LED light kit to experience the process of taking one of these apart and putting back together. I will say it wasn't quite as good in the grass as I'd hoped, it really needs short grass or just dirt (think baseball diamond or RC dirt track) and its amazing on the asphalt. But it's still fun hobbling through the grass with a kid chasing after it.
So glad I found the pink model! I Haven’t opened this yet because it’s a present for my niece but the shipment went great and the product looks higher quality than expected. The textures feel very high quality and it looks durable. Now we just need to build a jump.
Bought 2 Bandits. One for my grandson. We’ve had a blast running these cars together! I was concerned at first because he’s 7 and sure enough, he had a few BAD crashes on the first day. Like head on straight into a concrete curb at full throttle. The Bandit survived with NO damage. (We did have the aftermarket RPM large front bumper installed). The durability is truly remarkable and its so nice to have cars that spend more time on the road than on the workbench!
Supper fast otb. A little fragile in the front, definitely consider the upgraded wider bumper to protect the steering.. Definitely worth the money tho
I bought these because my RC was performing erratically after several years on the old batteries. The steering was inconsistent as well as the car shutting down periodically. I tried another generic battery pack and it helped but still occasionally misbehaved. Put in this battery pack and everything runs as it should. I forgot how much fun these cars are to drive!!
