The Maxx performs just as advertised. It rips on 4s,electronics stayed relatively cool,wheelies on command,loves to fly,shocks soak it up no problem, oh,and it looks BADASS. I the body could be a little tougher, maybe some strategic padding here and there. Just once I would like a Traxxas rc to come with an LED lighting system stock,$100 upgrade on top of the $529 sticker price is a bit much. I'll buy it anyway tho. 😎

Bought this so I could wear out my puppy before leaving for work and I'm having just as much fun as she is! Brings back the inner kid who loves taking things apart and putting them back together as well as ripping around R/C cars. This is unlike anything I ever had growing up (60+ mph on pavement). Thing is a tank but I'm finding that it is definitely a hobby for the mechanically inclined if you want to rip around obstacles at top speeds.. Something will inevitably come dislodged or break, but the parts are cheap, easy to find, and it's fun to see how everything works. The 4wd on the Maxx has great control over other 2wd models and is great for people who want to rip around on dirt or grass.

This is my absolute favorite RC. Its incredibly durable. Its fast. Its very easy to work on. I have not broken a single part on this truck and its been to the skatepark 10+ times. It is expensive, but you will not be spending much money after buying it. Batteries and youre good. This truck is just so incredibly durable and fun to drive. The ultimate truck in my opinion. Ive had plenty of RCs that were more expensive than this one, and this one is just so much more fun than any of them. And its uninterrupted fun. You dont have to fix it every time you use it like many other trucks. Absolutely awesome truck. I would 100 percent recommend buying one of these if youre in the market. You will not be disappointed. Its surprisingly quick on 3s lipo too

Definitely do not play inside the house. Its so fast it put a hole in my wall just by accidentally touching the throttle handing it to my kid. It was only 7 feet away. Lol

My 11 year old saved up for this and it was definitely worth it. This thing is insanely fast and fun. Battery combo worth it. Runs for 15-20 minutes no issues. Great RC truck
It can handle anything you throw at it. It is great on pavement, grass and dirt. It can pull wheelies for days, fly through tall grass and leap over jumps. It is durable too.
This will fly through the air and slam down then self right and keep-on bashing like a champ it's not slow in any meaning to the word. This is strong,superfast,above all has no fear of anything it just keeps moving forward with fury and anger in the way that the car moves
A little pricey but this little truck is a blast. If you get this with the 5000mAh 4S battery, you will not be disappointed. You only get about 20-25 minutes on a battery so I recommend getting two. This is my new favorite truck along with my x-maxx.
The Traxxas Maxx 4S is an awesome truck it's very durable parts are readily available it's really fun to drive. I just wish Traxxas would stop with the priority ID battery connector and I wish they would make their battery trays a little bit bigger so you weren't forced to use their batteries with their priority connector and their priority battery chargers. But I'm using my own battery charger with a different battery with a Traxxas connector. Still love the truck
