We went on a trail that had mud, some snow and a big obstacle. The recovery boards worked so amazing. Someone had another brand and broke them on the first pass. I brought out my ARBs and never looked back. I know they seem expensive but they are the best insurance when on a trail.

Its really a toss up between these and the MaxTrax - these are very sturdy - robust and seem like they would have quite a bit of longevity. I have not had to deploy these yet - but honestly there is no secret technology in recovery boards. I am pleased with my purchase - and I do like that they come with recovery straps- so that way you dont have to go digging backing through the mud to retrieve them after use.

Best price on the Web for these recovery boards. I used the old version of them (Tred 800’s) for many years with great success so this upgrade to the new Pro’s was a no brainer. If you do any kind of off-road work, getting stuck is a very real and expensive concern. These take the stress away.
