I'm picky with lotions. I live in a dry hot climate so my skin can get dry fast. Regular lotions don't always do the trick, so I prefer body butter. However, most of them leave a greasy or sticky feeling on top of your skin. I can't stand that. For years I used Body Shop body butters, and while it's priced high for the amount you get, it does the job. I still like it, but am so grateful to have found this stuff! Finally, a lovely coconut summer scent! Leaves my skin soft, hydrated, smelling beautiful, no greasy or leftover product sitting on my skin... absorbs nicely. Also, AMAZING price. Hope they keep it forever!

I have the matching body scrub and I like the scent and that it’s a matching set. I wish Tree Hut would make all of their products have a matching body butter so one could layer the scents. Smells amazing and I like that it’s not greasy and leaves my skin soft. Good price point for the item as you’d expect to pay for it as you would at any other big box stores. A body spray would be nice!!

The initial scent is ok - I was expecting more tbh. I like this product more AFTER it’s fully absorbed. The scent is subtle, but more importantly, your skin stops feeling sticky. HOW a body butter can make you feel sticky is beyond me but this does on me. Weird. It’s just meh.

Saw the reviews and was unsure but went ahead with it. The item doesn't smell very strong but it's enough where I can still smell it hours after application and it smells wonderful just a hint of coconut. I can also see where other reviewers say that it's sticky for a longer than other products. I notice just a tiny bit of stickiness 5-10 mins after application but it's worth it for how moisturized my skin feels. I will be buying again!
I love this lotion. It's cheap, moisturizing, and it smells really good. I had this stubborn patch of dry skin that would just not go away no matter what I did. I bought this lotion just because one day and I noticed that days after I started using it, the dry patch was gone. I'm no doctor, but if you have dry skin and you're looking for something to help, you may wanna give this a try!
I’ve been using Tree Hut Body Butters for years. As I age I need more moisturizing on my skin, this melts into my skin and doesn’t leave it sticky. However this particular version, Coco Colada pills after about an 1hr after moisturizing. I can’t stand it when that happens. I used up the tub up but I will not buy this particular scent again. Hopefully the other scents do not pill.
I'd been eyeing a tree hut moisturizer for a while now. It was between this one and the tropic glow. I decided on this one just because it was a dollar cheaper, even though the other one is supposed to be a dupe for bum bum cream. The texture of this body butter is so thick, rich and creamy. The scent is absolutely divine. Definitely took me to a beach, but really it smells exactly like Pirates of the Caribbean. It sinks into the skin really quickly so there is no greasy, heavy feeling; just super soft and moisturized skin. The scent lasts a good while too. I'd like to try the other tree hut body butter as well but honestly I'll probably just buy this one again because it just smells SO good and makes my skin SO soft
Staying power for the scent is like non existing. It smells amazing in the packaging but as soon as you put it on it literally goes away. The moisture for this is just about non existing too wouldn’t call this a body butter but a light cream. I only bought this for the scent only sadly it’s a fail for them most of their body products are amazing but this is a fail I’m highly disappointed in them for this.
I love the smell of coconut and pineapple so I had to try this out. I’ve been using the tree hut brand in their scrubs for many years so I’ve been wanting to try their body butters. For the price, absolute luxury. The smell lasts for a good while plus, it makes your skin feel so hydrated and soft! The texture is also very cloud like and airy but the positive packs a punch. For that extra bit of moisture, I’d recommend using the body butter as soon as you are out of the shower while your body is still damp. Can’t wait to check out the other scents.
smells great- if you like tropical scents- there are strong, yet soft notes of coconut and pineapple. I asked my boyfriend what he though it smelt like, and he said a cruise. another scent comparison, would be the biolage shampoo- with pineapple mixed in. the texture is nice and smooth and applies very easy to the skin. longetivity- smell lasts about 30 minutes on my arms. A little goes a long way- as it is a stronger fragrance. after the 30 minutes, there is still a smell of I hold my arm up to my nose (which lasts a while). cons- it can be very VERY minimally sticky at first, but is not enough to make me stop using it. in my opinion, you absolutely should buy this product. if you're a beach person you HAVE to buy this. THIS IS NOT SPONSERED.
