The bike rides smoothly. The gears also shift smoothly. The bike looks beautiful and sporty. I couldn't have made a better choice.

Used to commute to work. 3-6. Although this model is heavy, it seems to move well. The stem is cheap and does not stay tight. Pedals are cheap. Fits me well. Need to upgrade components to fit needs.

This is my first hybrid Bike and I have say I am impressed. The seat is probably the best seat i have ever owned and I have gone through a lot of seats. Did a 13 mile ride on different terrain, mud, gravel, concrete and tarmac and no padded shorts, first time ever. i think the seat and the geometry of the frame just seems to suit my body. I got to say I love. I have already upgraded the brakes, stem and handlebars (more to match the colour scheme and I am fussy too), and pedals., I might actually upgrade to suspension forks, but i do not go anywhere technical so i do not know yet. For the price I think you cannot go wrong, it just pedals seamlessly.Yes I got to say I am a happy chappy - thank you Trek you got this bike right/

Good solid bike.Changing gears feels smooth and unrestrictive.Lightweight build but also is sturdy.Overall good bike would recommend.
Use bike for daily commutes into city of LA. Bike shifts smooth and makes eight mile round trip a breeze. Tires roll smooth despite horrible dtla road conditions. At 285lbs I've been able to complete half of my commute in 16 minutes. Just overall pleasure to ride. No padded shorts required.
Beautiful bike. Frame feels great. Personally feel the brakes are acceptable but not very smooth and the seat is not very comfortable. If I could do it again would probably get the dual sport 2.
The bike itself is great however I’ve found the sizing extremely off! I purchased a size ‘small’ as I’m 5 ft 3 which is toward the higher end of the height requirements for this size. I was very disappointed when the bike arrived and was much larger than I had imagined. Even with the seat at the lowest setting my feet do not touch the floor! My partner had purchased a size XL and there honestly isn’t much different between the two sizes which is very odd. Other than the seat adjustments I’m going to need to make, the bike is great.
Picked up the bike last week and does exactly what it says on the tin. Easy changeover between gears, runs smoothly with a more than sufficient break calibre. Happy I chose great value for money what more do you need?
I've had Trek bikes since the 80's. I picked my latest Trek at Tremor North Raleigh. Everyone there is awesome and I always enjoy going in to browse around or chat with the team.
Really pleased with this bike. Well engineered, rides smoothly and importantly, looks superb in blue.Ive only bought three bikes in the past 20 years, all Treks and all have been super reliable. The Chelmsford Evans store I purchased from were great. I spent a long time in store trying different models, frame sizes, seat heights and asking questions, all of which were patiently and politely answered.
