Had this bike for just over a month now, extremely happy with it. Bike just feels very light compared to my old steel hardtail. Love the dropper post, it makes a such a difference on rocky descents to lower it and get your weight over the back wheel so easily. The suspension lockout facility is a great feature, it allows a quick change of set up very quickly, depending on the route ahead, at very short notice.

Great bike, but a little disappointing that it comes with SLX brakes, given that it’s meant to be an XT model.This is my first new MTB since 2004, so moved from 26” to 29” wheels and 3x9 to 1x12 driveline, both of which are great improvements. The bike is super comfy and really stable on descents. I would prefer the rear shock to lock out properly, as it still has some travel when locked out
