The shampoo is thick & clear, with a beautiful fruity fragrance. It lathers up so well & leaves my hair feeling squeaky clean. I was able to get a nice straight look with just a quick blow-dry & therefore was able to put away the hair straightener, saving my hair from added heat damage which was great. When I first started the trial, I was hoping this shampoo would be the solution to my oily hair & help me to extend my wash day frequency, but unfortunately, I found that I was still needing to wash my hair daily. Thankfully this product seems to be gentle enough for daily use & despite my concerns about it containing SLS, I didn't notice any increase in my hair fall. Overall, this shampoo is a great value option for the whole family & really does give you that salon feel.

Pumps on Tresemme bottles are very hit and miss. Sometimes they "open" just by twisting the pump on the top but this is rare in my experience. I always seem to have to get my hands dirty to get it to work. 2) The smell. Its not a pretty scent or unpleasant smell, just MEH! or some days more BLAH in my opinion. Thankfully the smell doesn't last and I use post wash styling products that smell nice so it's not a deal breaker. I guess it smells very generic as it is a unisex product so being overly perfumed would be a disadvantage for sales. Honestly if the product didn't perform as well as it does I probably wouldn't buy it once it runs out. Overall, it is a great performing shampoo, foams well and comes in an almost 1 litre pump pack so I won't have to buy shampoo again for months! I will purchase this shampoo again as it is amazing at cutting the grease on my scalp and gives me an extra day between shampoos. It also doesn't strip my hair as sometimes shampoo for oily hair can make my hair frizzy as it will dry it out. Very surprised that I love it as much as I do.

His hair felt fresh and so clean without drying. My daughter has greasy hair naturally and we have tried everything. Using Cleanse and Replenish she has fresh and cleansed hair for up to 4 days without having to rewash whereas before she would have to wash every second day. The scent was an added bonus without being offensive. Using the shampoo on my hair I found it was cleansing while gentle and left my wavy hair feeling hydrated without stripping it. After washing and using the conditioner I was left with shiny natural waves once air dried. I do also love that Tresemmé does not test on animals and is PETA approved plus the bottles are Aussie made with 50% Aussie recycled plastic!Would definitely recommend for those wanting almost salon quality for supermarket prices!

Having only used the shampoo and conditioner for a week, I must say I'm impressed by Tressemme's Cleanse and Replenish shampoo. The shampoo has a pleasant floral green note that is not too strong on the nose. It comes in a large (huge) 940ml pump bottle that is made from recycled plastic and dispense easily and would last a long time in the shower for me. I was impressed by the fact that the product is locally made in Australia as well. Using it during a hair wash, I can immediately feel that it lathers up quite decently and does a good job of cleaning my scalp without stripping excess moisture and make my skin feel overly dry. I wash my hair twice before using the conditioner in the same range to soften my hair. After drying, I can really feel that my hair has been properly cleansed of product build up and grease and left with a natural luster and sheen, it was easy to brush and style without excessive hair fallout. I also notice that the volume of my hair has improved after using the shampoo and conditioner as there is more 'lift' on my side part. The best part for me is that it seems to help with my scalp itchiness and has managed to reduce the amount of dandruff that brushes out in my daily brushing. It's too early to tell but it appears to help reduce my dermatitis woes and I'm hoping that this continues. For me this great big bottle gets a big thumbs up. I've not tried Tresemme after so many years but am glad I did as they have improved their formulation and are so much more affordable than other hair care products that don't work half as well on my hair. If you are in doubt, you should give it a try as it's an budget friendly option.

It starts off with a nice sweet fruity smell but when you use too much the scent is a bit too strong and over powering for my liking. After using it for longer you get used to the scent. Even after its washed out the scent still lingered in my hair. It is yellow clearish in colour. One pump is definately enough to laver my whole hair. I do have oily hair, this did help after each use my hair did feel cleaner and less oily. I do wash my hair everyday as it gets really oily during the day, it hasnt dried out my hair as i use the conditioner after. I found this shampoo was ok for every day use however I didn't find it deep cleansing enough on days when my scalp was super oily or flaky. TRESemmé Cleanse & Replenish Shampoo smells like a normal run of the mill shampoo, a little bit chemically and fake - it’s not the worst smelling scent but it’s not my favourite. I loved the 940ml bottle with the pump lid, the pump works well and is so much easier to use than turning the extra large bottle upside down. A+++! I also found that I only needed a pump or two of the shampoo as it lathered really nicely (I’m assuming this is due to the ingredients listing). Afterwards I did notice my hair felt very clean and ‘light’ however this feeling didn’t last any longer than my regular (salon purchased shampoo) and my hair was oily by the next day. Sadly this is not my unicorn product but I will keep looking for the one that will help prolong time between washes, I don’t think I will continue to use TRESemmé Cleanse & Replenish Shampoo and I will go back to my normal shampoo but I will keep both the shampoo and conditioners in my visitors bathroom for house guests to use and would potentially repurchase them for that reason as I believe they are both excellent value for money as aesthetically pleasing.

My tip is to use a really good conditioner alongside as it can be quite drying if you’ve already got dry ends!It’s the kind of product I’d use sparingly but it’s the first one I’d grab if I’d been to a massage and had oil through my hair or something.

It is also recyclable and not tested on animals. The shampoo is quite rich and foamy in texture and does end up being quite a rich lather. It contains multivitamin to balance the scalp out. The shampoo gives a nice cleanse and really gets rid of oil and dirt. I like to oil my hair as well and this helps to get rid of the extra oil in my hair. I like to use this shampoo every couple of washes to help remove build up and dirt. I do not think it's the strongest deep cleanse you can get on the market but it works for me and my build up.
