Tressemme is a very familiar brand to us and I have used a few products from their different range of hair care products and family members are regularly using their products and were very excited to try this one as well. The brand has lived up to my expectations and this is really good product. I tried TRESemmé smooth and silky conditioner and shampoo and will be recommending this to any one with dry scalp and hair. It has nourishing and moisturising argan oil. It also has silk protiens which I am not sure how exactly they work for hair but I was happy with the outcome after using this product. I shampooed twice and the left in conditioner for 3-4 minutes and rinsed well and didn't use any serum or any other hair products and the results were good. Smooth, soft hair, minimal flyaways, it though didnt do much for the appearance of my hair but hair felt smooth and they were manageable.

I used this conditioner after using the shampoo from the same range. I was pleasantly surprised with this conditioner. I usually have to use a lot of conditioner on my hair as I have quite long hair, and it is ridiculously thick. I found I didn’t need to use nearly as much as I normally would. I found that this conditioner spread quite well on my hair and seemed to coat the hair really well. Often after rinsing out my conditioner, my hair feels coarse and almost grippy(?), I can’t think of a better word, but after rinsing this conditioner out it didn’t feel the same way. It genuinely felt quite hydrated. After drying my hair, I noticed it wasn’t quite as frizzy as it usually is either, and I didn’t find my scalp was oilier as a result. This suits my fine hair. The conditioner was easy to apply spread around well to coat the hair. The option of a pump would work nicely for this larger container. Both the shampoo and conditioner have a pleasant “green apple” scent which is fresh and modern (no-one wants to smell like Nanna’s favourite floral toilet spray perfume!). The clean fragrance was not overpowering, and did not linger in my hair after drying. My hair is fine and thin, short to bob length, not coloured, and my scalp and ends tend to be dry. This represents excellent value for money and with the TRESemmé brand name you are definitely getting a high quality product to rival the “designer” brands that charge exorbitant prices. TRESemmé Smooth & Silky Shampoo + Conditioner with Silk Proteins & Argan Oil are equal to any luxury brand purchases I have indulged in in the past. Plus, the value for money packaging means you are consuming less plastic which must be beneficial to the environment. Having used several times since, my initial impression review stands.
