Awesome Wrist Guards

These wrist savers are a perfect addition for safety. They are light weight and breathable yet well designed with shock absorbing splints. Have daughters with a one wheel and a boosted board, and I feel so much better knowing if they fall no broken wrists! They said the guards are very comfortable and forgot they even had them on, plus they look cool! Every boarder should have a pair. Love Warehouse Skateboards! Awesome website and fast delivery.

I first tried this design in a skate shop and wasn't sure about them at first. They felt a little too tight and I was worried that the the heavier material around would be uncomfortable when skating. I eventually caved and later bought them once I'd gotten tired of how uncomfortable the normal "simple" wrist guard designs felt. It did still take some getting used to, as these can be a bit too snug to easily remove during a hard skate or when my hands get a little too sweaty, but wow do I really love them now. The actual rigid guard elements are a lot more comfortable and substantial than your average cheap set, and I've grown to like the almost compression-feel of the cloth material. They're overall more comfortable and form-fitting, more protective, and just feel higher quality than other wrist guards so I love them.

Comfortable, lightweight, and well built
20 September 2017

Bought this after I hurt one of my wrists skateboarding. I am only wearing the right side now while riding. I bought a size large and the fit was a bit tight during the first couple run I did, but after a while the elasticity of it loosen up and they fit perfectly now. The support for the wrist is really stiff and lower the stress of worsening an injury after getting back on wheels. The quality of the material is good and the single velcro strap make it easy to put and adjust with a single hand. My wrist is not cooking in it, so the material must be breathable to some degree. I only fell a couple of times on it since and it still has plenty of support.

Great price & quality protection
25 July 2021

The sizing was right on. They quality is as expected and they feel like they'll do the trick if you fall. My only complaint, and it's an issue that is becoming more and more prevalent, is that they smell "new." Not an issue for most people I know but the plastic that is used in so many of today's products gives off an odor. This goes away over time but if voc's are a concern for you, let these air out for a couple days outside. That said, it is not overwhelming and any wrist guard you buy will have that plastic smell. This criticism isn't brand specific and has nothing to do with EVO. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

Great wrist guards
24 July 2023

Bought these because I was particularly concerned about wrist injuries while rollerblading. They're great so far - already came in handy during a few beginner falls. Comfortable and easy to put on and take off.

Just in time…
4 June 2023

I’m a 44 year old professional hair stylist. My hands are my money makers. I recently decided to get back into in-line skating for fitness after 25+ years of not skating. I skated in the early days of aggressive skating. I put in about 20 miles of fitness skating while waiting a week for my Triple 8 delivery. The day my safety gear showed up I went for an after dark skate in my neighborhood and ate it pretty hard for the first time since skating again. These wrist guards saved my wrists from what most likely would have been a career sidelining injury. Thanks Triple 8!

Perfect for a newbie
12 June 2023

The sizing chart for these is accurate, and the wrist guards fit perfectly. Solid construction and incredibly durable. I haven't had the displeasure of taking a bad enough fall, but based on how well these are crafted I'm also not afraid to fall on them while skating :)

Wristsaver II totally worth it
23 October 2022

As someone who recently sprained a wrist skating (before the Wristsavers) I can easily say that this is a piece of padding I would not skimp out on. Do yourself a favor and save your wrists with the Wristsaver II’s. They are comfortable and fit true to the measurements. I won’t be hitting the park without my Triple 8 gear again. If an awesome product isn’t enough of a reason to buy, the Triple 8 customer service makes it a no brainer. Thanks Marie! You all are awesome!
