Purchased this helmet for my 8 year old son. It fits perfectly!! He has always seemed to work up a sweat pretty easily, and when he does he sweats a lot lol. The sweatsaver liner does a great job of keeping the sweat from dripping down the head and does not leave behind any nasty smell! He finds it to be very comfortable and absolutely loves wearing it! Awesome and sleek looking helmet.

When it comes to snugness and fit, the Triple8 is second to none. The name of the sweatsaver inlays says it all: even me, who sweats profusely, stays dry for quite a while. All previous helmets caused a waterfall in front of my face after like an hours. With this one, I stay dry.When it comes to ruggedness: I can't tell. Luckily, I had no hard slams.But the Triple8 is comfy, light and keeps the sweat off of my face.Highly recommend it!
Love the design... very comfortable... having two sizes of pads really does help with getting the right fit. Definitely choose the larger size if your measurements fall between two sizes. My one criticism is the helmet scratches easily. I have a few scratches already, just from carrying the helmet and my rollerblades to the car..
There is nothing wrong with the helmet. It's cute, fits great, 11 year old loves it. However, found this exact same helmet at another (big box) retailer for $20 LESS!!! I don't begrudge anyone making a profit but this up charge is unconscionable. Between that and it taking three weeks to ship, it's going back to tillys. Price shop this before you buy...
The helmet is well made. The reason for the reduction in stars is due to the clasp feature. My kids struggle to unclasp it. I got two. My daughter can't open it at all. My kids are all able to unclasp their bike helmets without my help. Maybe with time and I usage it will become easier to unclasp.
I didn't wear a helmet skateboarding for a long time, until I got a severe concussion. I was hesitant to buy one, but don't ever want to go through that again! So I bought this helmet. It is soooo cushioned and comfortable. I actually like wearing it! Totally worth buying. It's solid, comfortable and 100% better than any other helmet I tried. Glad I got it.
